Welcome to experience the unforgettable Lapland wonderland with year-round activities! Villa Golden Hill Ylläs is a brand-new cabin built to relax your mind and body. This design villa has big windows from where you can see reindeer running in the stunning forest landscape. After enjoying a Finnish sauna you can cool off on the terrace and admire the Northern Lights and stars in the sky. The cottage is located in a quiet location a few km away from the Ylläs skiing center and Äkäslompolo town. The space We offer a quality place to stay in a cozy and brand new design-duplex cabin! The three-bedroom villa has an open living room kitchen, a luxurious sauna department and two toilets. The villa comfortably accommodates 6 adults in their own beds. There is also an extra mattress (70x140cm) available for a child and a baby's crib for small baby/toddler. Villa's large landscape windows and high slope ceiling allow sunlight pour beautifully through the apartment. The nature streams inside the cottage from the sprawling windows of the living room facing a breathtaking forest scenery. The color palette of the cabin's decor has been thoughtfully styled, giving the guests the authentic Lapland vibes together with comfort and luxury. An air-source heat pump (installed in July 2025) guarantees just the right temperature during your stay - whether it's cooling on summer days or warmth on winter evenings. The cottage also has geothermal heating that can be controlled with thermostats. The kitchen is modern and you can find all the cooking essentials: the kitchen utilities include induction stove and hotplate, dish washer, coffee machine, water boiler and toaster. We also have all the tableware, drinking classes and wine classes needed to host dinner party. The living room has a 50” flat-screen TV and Samsung soundbar-speaker (with Bluetooth) installed on the wall. In one of the master bedrooms you'll find a remote workspace with a 27" Samsung Smart Monitor. You can watch your favorite TV-show from the screen before falling asleep, or you can use the screen to power through your daily office work. So Villa Golden Hill also serves as a great remote workspace! The atmospheric and traditional Finnish sauna accommodates a big group of guests - or if you prefer, you can just have a moment for yourself while laying down on the sauna boards. A high-quality, Harvia-manufactured sauna stove with a timer provides relaxing and soft steams. The bathroom has two rain showers, a toilet, and, behind black cabinet doors, an iron and iron board, a washer, and a spacious dryer cabinet. Electric car charging option (Type 2) for the duration of your stay for €20 (max 80kWh) + €0.30/kWh for excess consumption. For active nature lovers, Villa Golden Hill offers 2 snowshoes included in the rent fee during the winter season. Guest access In addition to the interior of the cabin, you'll have access to a 3m2 outdoor storage to store and maintain skiing equipment. There is also two patios available for the quests. Other things to note During the WINTER 2026 high season from 15. february to 26. april, check-in and check-out day is SUNDAY. ADDITIONAL SERVICES: - THE LINEN SET: We rent linen through our partner for €25/person. The linen set includes sheets already made up on the beds, face and bath towels. These are added to the reservation according to the number of people, so you do not pay extra. - PET FEE: Pets are welcome in our cottage (max 2 well-kept pets). Please inform us about your pet when booking. We charge a €60 additional cleaning fee from pets at the time of booking. - EV CHARGING: Electric car charging option (Easee, Type 2) for the duration of your stay for €20 (max 80kWh) + €0.30/kWh for excess consumption. The cottage is a semi-detached cottage and there are also other cottages in the area. The cottage is located in a quiet area at the end of the road. The living room windows and the back terrace have a wonderful view of the natural forest. The cottage is located on a gentle slope.
