Cozy Farmhouse & Orchard near Helper
Description
This beautiful farmhouse is a single level home, next to acres of farmland and an apple orchard. Deer often come onto the backyard in the evenings, so you can enjoy the sunset next to the outdoor fireplace as you watch the wildlife. It's a great location to enjoy central Utah or as a stop on your way to Southern Utah. We have unlimited high speed internet if you're looking for a remote work location. The house has been completely remodeled inside; the yard is being landscaped and updated. The space We have loved renovating this cozy old farmhouse and are still working on projects outside throughout the property. But in the meantime we'd love to have you enjoy this beautiful slice of Utah. There really are alot of deer around (in the evenings) so watch out for deer poop around the backyard or in the orchard. Feel free to enjoy the outdoor sitting area (two wicker style benches, cushions are in the deck box) and gas fireplace. This property is located 3.5 miles from historic Helper Main Street which has undergone major renovations in the last few years to showcase the mining and railroad history. While you're in town stop by the museum, visit the bank vault robbed by Butch Cassidy or enjoy live music on Saturday evenings at Helper Vibes. Guest access Guests have full access to the house and property immediately surrounding the house. Please do not wander into the adjacent alfalfa fields that are part of a larger family farm. Other things to note We love staying here and do so frequently to work on projects. We love getting away from Salt Lake and enjoy the nature and fresh air (we think its quiet and peaceful). Most guests agree and love their stay although a few have commented about noise from the train line or highway, so we want to mention it so that guests are aware. There is a railroad line located 900 feet east of the property and the Amtrak California Zephyr line passes at 7am on its current schedule (welcome to Helper, famous for its railroad history). We have included this because we want you to enjoy your stay with full information on what you may experience.
