Close to the bus to both Tromsø's vibrant nightlife and amazing mountains and nature. Located right next to Tromsø Museum and Telegrafbukta where there are fantastic opportunities to see the Northern Lights in all their splendor. The home is centrally located, but still in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood where you can retreat and just relax in front of a warm fireplace or outside in front of an open fire. The space The home is an older, but upgraded single-family home that is in daily use by the owner. The home is in good condition and well maintained. There will be visible signs that the owner lives in the house. Periodically there are dogs in the house, so there may be traces of animals in the house. Wi-Fi is available throughout the home. There is also a work desk with an external screen for home office if desired. Connection with USB-C or included connector. The house is a vertically divided house, so both the outdoor area and parking space are shared with a nice neighbor. The neighbor has two nice, beautiful dogs that are often seen in the common garden. If you are lucky, the dogs will come to greet you and get some cuddles. The basement apartment is permanently rented so normal residential sounds can be experienced as a result. Guest access Guests have access to almost the entire home, including the laundry room in the basement. Two bedrooms (opposite the master bedroom), basement storage and garage are locked and unfortunately not available for guests. The basement apartment is permanently rented so this is also not available for guests in the main residence. Other things to note The idyllic outdoor area in the garden is shared with the home's neighbor. If you want to have a fire in the fireplace or outdoor fireplace, there is firewood available in the wood basket inside. When this is empty, more wood can be purchased at the building store Coop Obs-bygg, which is a 5-minute walk away. There is a house manual available in the house with information about wifi, grocery stores, bus and taxi in addition to phone numbers for me and my co-hosts.
