A wonderful place to create memories, play, rest, & recharge! My place is a beautiful NEW year-round designer cabin on Rush Lake that we call “The Glory Cabin” The Glory Cabin Is Located on Ottertail County (Lakes Area). This county has the most amount of lakes than any other county in Minnesota & the USA! Therefore, this area is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the area for boating and fishing! We are different from the other cabins in the area in that we have plenty of extra special amenities that will help you and your group relax and unwind. Many of our guests use our place as a mini wellness retreat to encounter nature, sauna, ice bath, massage chair, have fun & escape the chaos of life! Rush Lake is known in the area for being one of the best walleye fishing & family hangout lakes year-round! FLOOR PLAN LAYOUT - There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (3 showers & a soaker tub) on the main floor and 2 sleeping lofts on the second floor which give you plenty of room to have a family gathering and spread out during your stay. The main floor features the master bedroom with a king-size bed with custom adjustable mood lighting, a walk-in closet, and a full bathroom with a large soaker tub with shower. Also, the master bath has a second walk-in shower. All showers have huge rainfall shower heads & a tankless water heater system that provides unlimited continual hot water (so no one has to take a lukewarm shower). There is also an outdoor shower to rinse off after playing in the lake in the summer months. The other two bedrooms include Bedroom 2 featuring a Queen size bed and Bedroom 3 featuring a twin over full bunk. Down the hall, you'll find a 3/4 bathroom, laundry room, and a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with all you need to feel right at home! The Great room area features tall vaulted ceilings and beautiful views of the Lake that can be seen on both levels from multiple picture windows. The sunsets are some of the best I’ve ever seen and I’ve traveled to over 45 countries! The second-floor loft features 2 sleeping & hang-out areas with a total of 3 twins over full Bunks and a double bed & a custom kids' play area with stuffed animals & games to keep the kids entertained & having fun. Glass push button Water boiler, toaster, wine glasses & more… 2 QLED Smart TV’s We have two Smart TVs that have cutting edge QLED screen quality. They both have remarkable picture quality. One is in the living room and another one is in the master bedroom. THE MASTER BEDROOM The Master King bed has an incredibly beautiful view of the lake and has a custom walk behind closet with bath robes & bath sandals available for your use. You have access to your own bathroom that has a soaker tub and two showers and a private toilet room that has its own closable door THE SAUNA & HOT TUB is literally right outside of the master bed so you can easily enjoy at your convenience. KING BED WITH MOOD LIGHTING We have a custom built King bed that is very comfortable with plenty of room. It is built in a way where it looks like it is floating in the air (yet it is super secure). It also has mood lighting that comes from beneath and from above setting an amazing atmosphere. FIRE PIT Also, there is a fire pit & plenty of comfy chairs. (Firewood is not included/provided, but can be bought in town) 2 SAUNAS ! Barrel sauna - We have a 8 person cedar barrel Sauna with a panoramic view window that allows you to see the gorgeous lake sunsets and beautiful stars at night! Infrared Sauna - Also, we have another infrared sauna which Health gurus specifically say is extra beneficial in deep intoxication of the cells. Both Sauna’s are powered by electricity so you do not have to bring wood for them. It’s an amazing experience to rotate between the ice baths, 2 Sauna’s, hot tub, massage chair, red light therapy! Our cabin is a mini spa that you and your guests can use to recharge! ICE BATHS - Since our guests loved our portable ice baths, we decided to double down and buy top of the line stainless steel cedar ice baths for our guests to enjoy! To use them - you fill them up with the well water, which is freezing cold, then if you want it even colder, you can add ice cartons which we provide in our freezer. NEED MORE SPACE??? - Bunkhouse - We do have an additional 2 bedroom bunkhouse on the property with bathroom shower that is available for rent. It sleeps 4 people. NEARBY COFFEE SHOPS There are some amazing “small town” coffee shops that you can check out if you want to enjoy the local coffee & shopping scene. - The Nest in Perham - Gathering Grounds, Cafe, Perham - The William’s Company, Ottertail SCHEDULE A RELAXING MASSAGE IN TOWN We have massage therapists that we highly recommend for our guests. You can reserve your massage session with them before you come. If you Message us, we will give you their number so you can check their prices and book your session which is a 10 minute drive to downtown Perham. VERY PEACEFUL & QUIET LOCATION! If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this place is quiet and tranquil. I live in the city, so I often come up here just to escape the city’s chaos & noise. You often will hear lunes calling & Sometimes you can even spot bald eagles flying overhead! Sometimes deer come into the yard & peacefully pay a visit. Truly, Nature has a way of mesmerizing the soul! GAME AREA UPSTAIRS FOR KIDS! We built a custom area where kids can play upstairs. We have a variety of games such as life size checkers, huge bean bag and stuffed animals. Kids love to congregate upstairs and play in this area. COFFEE & TEA SET UP AT THE GLORY CABIN - We have - Regular Coffee Maker - Basic coffee stocked K-Cup Maker - With bunch of flavors Pour Over Set Up - for you coffee fanatics Teas - Plenty of caffeinated & herbal teas Also, there are two awesome nearby Mom and Popp coffee shops that are amazing. “The Nest” and “Gathering Grounds” in Perham. PET POLICY - $50 per pet fee - 2 pets max allowed - Pets must leashed at all times - You Must pick up their poop ($50 fee if you don’t) ====== THINGS TO DO IN SUMMER NEW INFLATABLE WATERSLIDE FOR CHILDREN We have just added a new inflatable waterslide for children age 10 & under. Kids absolutely love this thing! It blows up in the backyard and creates countless hours of fun. Easy way to keep an eye on your kids while keeping them busy. (Available Summertime only) This extra amenity is free if you are willing to set it up and properly take it down and dry it out (it’s easy) DOCK & LAKE ACCESS During the summer months the dock is in, so bring your boat (Launch from nearby public access) and tie it up on the dock and enjoy all the recreation that the beautiful Minnesota summer months have to offer. (Dock goes in early May & gets removed at the end of Sept for winter) PADDLE BOARDS & KYACKS There are also paddle boards and kayaks available for guest use upon request. We have 4 plastic kayaks and 3 paddle boards. (Enough to take group trips). Once again, The sunsets are second to none!!! *Please request this equipment before you come so we can set it out for you FIREPIT WITH SENIC LAKE VIEW Our fire pit has a scenic Lake view, so you can catch the sunset while relaxing in our high-quality adirondack chairs while enjoying good memories with your friends! NEARBY PARKS & BEACHES If you are looking for the perfect getaway to enjoy nature any time of year, my cabin is in close proximity to several state parks such as Maplewood State Park and Glendalough State Park. Both parks have a number of hiking and paved bicycle trails to enjoy some of the most serene beauty in all the lakes area. There are a few public beaches within 10 miles. VERY CLOSE TO THE BOAT LAUNCH ACCESS. It’s very easy for you to launch your boat and water sports equipment into the lake at the nearby boat launch. It’s right down the road. GAS GRILL In the summer, there is a gas grill & charcoal grill. *You must bring your own gas & charcoal. You can buy charcoal or propane in town at Carr’s Supermarket, (we do provide the empty propane tank that can be easily refilled ). HAMMOCKS In the summertime, there are hammocks outside. They are amazing place to relax & catch a sunset, or if you’re very adventurous, you can sleep in them and watch the stars! GOLF & RESTAURANTS Golf course, coffee shops, nice restaurants are within 10 miles. SHOPPING & BOTIQUES There are a number of really cute, small town, shopping boutiques nearby in Ottertail and Perham. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee while you go shopping with your friends! SUPER FRIENDLY & SAFE COMMUNITY - One final thing I will mention is that the small-town Minnesota people in this area are extremely friendly. The laid-back, safe, friendly personalities of the people in this community makes time spent here even more enjoyable & restful. AFFORDABLE PONTOON & BOAT RENTAL We can help you find an affordable Pontoon or fishing boat rental in the area. Message us before your stay and we will give you info on the most affordable places to rent from. SERIOUS ICE FISHERS - We do get professional ice fishing groups that rent our cabin for annual trips! You can bring your snowmobiles, portable ice houses, ATV’s, etc… There is plenty of parking in our driveway & in the cul-de-sac (if you want to bring serious equipment). The lake access is super close if you need to drive on the lake to drop equipment off. Rush Lake is a great ice-fishing lake! & my cabin has in-floor heat, a fireplace, a soaker bathtub & sauna to help you warm up & relax in-between catching fish! But if you need help, we know ice fishing guides & houses you can rent/hire. 8). SKI & SNOWBOARD - If you want to spend some time skiing, snowboarding, or sledding, My Cabin is located only 25 miles from Detroit Mountain. 9). SNOWSHOEING FOR YOUR GROUP - We recently purchased very high-quality snow shoes with hand hiking poles (see pic). We have enough for 7 people and have various sizes. (Small medium and large). If the lake is frozen, you can go hiking around the lake. Or there are nearby trails you can check out. They are free to use as long as you take care of them. ========= OVERALL - The Glory Cabin is an amazing place to rejuvenate with family and friends any time of the year.
