Anvil Cottage, lovely cottage in the Peak District

Anvil Cottage sits within its own private courtyard and is a light and airy detached barn conversion, full of charm and character. Over 200 years old, the cottage has been refurbished in 2022. Sleeps 3 in 2 bedrooms, pet free, and ideally situated in the heart of the historic village of Winster for walking and touring the beautiful countryside of the Peak District National Park. A short stroll to the friendly local community shop and pubs. Within easy reach of Matlock, Bakewell and Chatsworth. The space Anvil Cottage consists of: Cosy sitting room with exposed beams and French doors out to the courtyard. - free Wi-Fi - TV (Freesat) - guide books and board games Fully fitted and well-equipped kitchen with: - electric hob - fan oven - fridge/freezer - microwave - dining table and chairs - washer drier. Also downstairs is a modern newly-fitted bathroom with electric shower and bath. Upstairs hallway with storage cupboard / hanging space. Double bedroom with luxury king-size bed, fitted wardrobes and dressing table. Single cosy bedroom with chest of drawers. Upstairs toilet and wash-hand basin. Outside courtyard with table and chairs. Linen and towels are provided. Guest access Guests have use of the entire cottage and courtyard which are self contained and accessed via a shared driveway from the road. Car parking is available on the road. The courtyard is accessed via a low gate with a step so please mind your head and mind the step. The courtyard is paved with old flagstones and is a little uneven. Other things to note Please refer to the booking calendar for minimum stay duration as this varies throughout the year. Access to cottage at 3pm on day of arrival. Departure required by 10am please on check out day. We are unable to accept bookings for pets. Smoking and vaping not permitted.
