Dungorm is a very relaxing country getaway and is known for its wide variety of native animals particularly its bird life as well as kangaroos, wallabies you may even see a goanna or echidna. There is also a wide variety of flora including magnificent eucalytus, iron barks, pine and wattle trees. The space Dungorm is a historic cattle and sheep property and features a large 4 bedroom country homestead with all modern conveniences including airconditioning, two bathrooms, two lounge rooms, fully equipped kitchen, wired screen verandah, there is also an outdoor covered BBQ area, undercover parking and fenced house yard. There is also a round yard and other holding yards for horses. Guest access Guests have access to the homestead and garden as well as walking, horse riding and bike riding on the farm tracks. Other things to note Dungorm Homestead is 2kms off the highway via dirt road so we recommend higher clearance vehicles. You can explore the property with your own horse or bike. Bring your kayak or boat and head to Coolmunda Dam at Inglewood or Leslie Dam at Warwick for fishing or other water activities. In Summer the region typically enjoys warm to hot days often with cool nights and bring hats and sun protection. In the cooler months there is definitely a chill in the air we recommend bringing some warmer clothes regardless of the time of the year. Dungorm is perfect for people wanting to enjoy nature in a very comfortable country homestead.
