Start your day with coffee from our complimentary bar, soaking in desert and mountain views from the master balcony—or set out on scenic hikes right outside the front door. In the evening, cozy up by the fire under a sky full of stars. All this just 30 minutes from downtown and the beach. The space Welcome to our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2 story home. It has been completely remodeled and has the perfect country vibe! This is a place to relax and feel at home. We are just a few miles from downtown Alpine where you will find plenty of cute little shops, coffee houses, and local restaurants. We'd love to host your family, as well as small events and gatherings. Our micro-farm enjoys a 180 degree view of the Cleveland National Forest. It boasts beautiful mountainside and high desert landscape. It’s quiet and peaceful and provides our guests the opportunity to get away from the bustle of the city, enjoy the countryside but also be close enough to all that San Diego has to offer! We also recently added a few new residents to our little micro-farm! Our Nigerian dwarf goats, Huckle-Barry (or just Barry!), Princess and Chewy. They are super friendly and love visiting with our guests. ***Please review the descriptions before booking. We are probably not the best choice for you if: you have mobility issues. We have very narrow stairs to get to the master bedroom/loft. We can sleep 6. But please review the available beds to make sure your party will be comfortable. *** The Space: We have 2 Bedrooms and 2 full Bathrooms with plenty of space to sleep 6 plus 1 infant. The Master bedroom loft has a comfy Queen size bed, walk-in closet, and a Smart TV. Also in the master loft area is a day bed for extra sleeping. A desk is in the loft as well. (The master is upstairs and is probably not suitable for someone older and/or with balance issues.) The downstairs bedroom is a bunkroom with a twin bunk bed, a trundle and a nursery area with a crib and a rocking chair. We have an open living room with the perfect napping sofa and a Smart TV where you can enjoy Hula, Netflix, Disney plus, and most streaming services. The open kitchen features all updated appliances including a microwave, coffee pot, tea kettle, stove and oven, refrigerator, and baking supplies. We do not have a dishwasher, but a dryer rack and dish soap are provided. Dedicated laundry room equipped with a full-size washer & dryer, laundry supplies, iron and ironing board. Our guest house has a fully fenced yard and private driveway that can fit at least 2 cars. We also have a propane fire-pit and seating area to enjoy the stars away from the city lights. Enjoy your meals outdoors at dining table after grilling your meal. We have a large open space available in front of the property that looks out into the Cleveland National Forest and would be the perfect backdrop for your event. Guest have full access to the Guest House and the fenced in yard surrounding it. Other things to note Self Check-in The fenced-in yard has an outdoor eating space as well as space for lounging and enjoying the peace and quiet. We have provided an outdoor grill, firepit, and dining table as well. Parking is provided but limited. Particularly if you are hosting a small event. If additional parking is needed, please contact host prior to booking.
