Pineland's Guesthouse

In the middle of Muskoka, with a hats off to our ancestors, who, on what was part of this same property, built one of the original resorts in the area, known as Pineland's Lodge, we welcome you to 'Pineland's Guesthouse'. With free Wifi, tv & firestick, parking for 1 & a trailer, kitchenette, full bathroom you are set to enjoy the full range of activities & great restaurants Muskoka has to offer. The space Enjoy the comfy over-sized foam bag chair in front of the electric fireplace within, and the fire pit (local fire bans permitting) outside to watch the stars. Situated on 6 acres with a pond and roaming chickens, set off into the woods down the old road to explore and get back to nature. Shared spaces in a large yard with different areas to enjoy, have a picnic by the picturesque pond, or a lazy afternoon swinging in the hammock. Propane bbq available for use. Bring your own boat and launch it around the corner for boating the famous lakes of Muskoka. In the winter bring your sleds, we are a short ride to the local trails. Large 8 panel room divider can be utilized to give the sleeping area privacy. The kitchen is equipped with a two top small burner, indoor grill, toaster, kettle, Keurig, and bar fridge. 3 piece bathroom, shower and composting toilet. The toilet needs to be used correctly. If not used in the proper manner and requires deeper cleaning, extra cleaning charges will be incurred. Dogs welcome at our discretion. Adjacent to the guesthouse is a shared large fenced in area for playtime with your pooch. Please clean up after your furry friend. Additional charges incurred for any damage eg. scratches, chewing, etc. * Dogs are not to be left alone on property. Note; There is an upstairs that is not for use and is absolutely unoccupied while guests are using the main floor as the Air bnb. *** We have an artisan gallery on the property that lies beyond the bnb. People may park beside you to visit the gallery. Other things to note We have a well that derives iron rich water from the sand at the water table level. The iron causes the water to have a slight orange tinge, which is perfectly fine for cleaning and showering with. If more than one dog is approved, there is an additional pet charge of $10 per night. Being in the middle of Muskoka adjacent to a busy road we are easy access to everything Muskoka has to offer.
