The lodge is approx 2 miles from Windermere, 3 miles from Bowness and Ambleside - All of which are walkable, bus-able & taxi-able from the front resort entrance. Mistletoe commands a particularly peaceful, tranquil sunny spot. No footfall going past your windows here! It’s on its own and just ready for you to kick back and relax! You can enjoy all the many attractions of the National Park as well as first class facilities of White Cross Bay. - Best of Both Worlds! Our luxury lodge itself sits around 4 minutes walk from the main centre of White Cross Bay and is approx 5 mins stroll through the park and woods to the very scenic Lake Windermere with its breathtaking views across the lake towards the Langdales and England's highest mountain Scar Fell Pike. With endless outdoor activities to do from almost our lodge doorstep, you will also have the option of using the leisure facilities of White Cross Bay - indoor swimming pool & sauna (See note below). There is also a restaurant, bar and takeaway services at the park centre. Our luxury lodge is fully heated and cosy & we offer our lodge for rental almost all year round. Our pricing is very seasonal - but please be aware we can only take bookings for 3 nights - Friday to Monday, 4 nights Monday to Friday or full weeks starting either Mondays or Fridays - see the note above ‘Essential information’ in the summary section. What to expect inside: Our beautifully appointed lodge is pretty & is chocolate-box in style! It has a large spacious open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, which is comfy and sociable. The kitchen is fully equipped with good quality everyday items in the cupboards - glasses, cups, plates, cutlery, pans etc, and includes the following: *Wine Cooler *gas hob *full sized electric oven * large integral larder fridge *separate integral freezer *toaster *slow cooker *George Foreman Grill for toasties *microwave *dishwasher The dining area is bespoke and has an lovely glass table and comfy & sociable seating for 6 persons. The lounge has a fabulous 'L shaped' corner leather sofa. The lounge is also equipped with a coffee table and has a flat screen TV. There is a bluetooth CD/Radio player. The open-plan room has a panoramic bi-folding opening door which opens up onto our south-west sunny facing terrace with its great view of the resort park. This balcony is home to our fully serviced hot tub, which is available for you to use during your stay. There is also comfy seating around this terrace balcony area. Its great for sunbathing, watching the wildlife and sunset watching. With the Lake District's quality air, on a clear night, the sky is full of stars and you often see shooting stars! With a range of fitted wardrobes and drawers, TV . External door with direct access to hot tub. Twin Bedroom - twin single beds with wardrobes and draws - TV 3rd bedroom Twin 2’6” Beds with range of storage units above the bed and a small wardrobe. This room doubles up as a children's wet day entertainment room and it is equipped with a range of games, puzzles etc. TV. Bathroom: A bathroom with a bath and a separate step-in shower. It has a gorgeous vintage-style roll topped bath. The room has a vanity wash basin with storage, a w.c and towel rail. Outside: Surrounded by ferns and trees, Mistletoe Lodge during spring to autumn hides very privately behind the natural foliage of its natural environment. We have our own car parking area for put to 3 cars at the front of the lodge and you climb approximately 9 steps to reach our frontal decking area and the entrance. On this frontal decking we have a storage box which contains the outdoor seating cushions, a high chair, and space for your outdoor shoes. There is also a external dining table and enough seating to gather round and eat alfresco and watch for wildlife! There is an outside tap for washing muddy boots and doggy's paws down. WHITE CROSS BAY FACILITIES * Indoor heated swimming pool * Sauna The above 2 facilities are at an additional cost 2023 prices Adult : £10.95 (peak)/£7.95 (off peak) Child£7.95 (peak)/£5.95 (off peak) per person per stay payable at White Cross Bay reception. General: Our lodge is Strictly Non-Smoking, but smoking is allowed within our car parking area. It is not available for single gender party groups - Hen Parties/Stag Parties. We only hire our lodge out to adults guests under 25 years of age subject to agreement prior to booking - please contact us first. White Cross Bay resort is a family orientated holiday park and will terminate your holiday if they feel these areas have been breached. We will require you to submit guests information at the time of reservation. This is so we can prepare the paperwork for your authorisation/arrival pack for White Cross Bay and also it is now a requirement for track and trace. We make this an easy process and we will send you a link to our guest information form to complete and return to us on line. We allow up to 2 x well behaved dogs to stay. Please add the pet fee on Airbnb. Owners must bring all the dog/s bed and suitable cleaning towels. We have an outside tap for cleaning off muddy paws and muddy boots. Please note - dogs are only allowed in our open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. They are strictly forbidden in the bedrooms and hallway area of our lodge. Any additional cleaning required following your stay will be deducted from the security deposit. We do not allow you to bring along any other animals, pets, reptiles, insects or birds Guest access The whole L lodge is yours for your stay - complete lodge sleeping up to a maximum of 6 persons, with its own private hot tub, with outdoor decking areas. Peaceful, private and very secluded Please note: 3 nights at the weekend - Friday to Monday 4 nights Midweek - Monday to Friday. 7 nights commencing either on a Friday or a Monday ARRIVALS ARE AFTER 3PM DEPARTURES ARE BEFORE 10AM PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST TO BOOK ANY OTHER PERIODS THAN WHAT IS SHOWN ABOVE - we will not be able to accept your request, as we can not get servicing or essential Hot Tub cleansing on our lodge any other arrival/departure days. Other things to note The lodge must be left in a clean and undamaged condition. Please clean the surfaces, remove all rubbish and put on the dishwasher before departure from the lodge. No Stag or Hen parties allowed. Up to 2 dogs allowed £20 per dog - payable directly to us. Guests are forbidden to bring along any other animals, pets, birds, insects or reptiles. Bookings for same gender groups and for guests under the age of 25 must contact owner first before booking or the reservation will be cancelled. On reservation the owner will send you a guest information form on line link to their website page.
