Description

Our charming Eco friendly off grid Tiny home is designed in a private secluded location to unwind, relax, escape the city life and enjoy everything the Hunter Valley has to offer. We are situated on beautiful private bush property just outside of Laguna in the Lower Hunter Valley on 56 acres of land nestled between Yengo National Park and Watagan State Forest, looking down to the rolling valleys below, surrounded by curvaceous ridge lines and picturesque views towards the Northern horizon. The space We have regular visitations of our co inhabitant friends. Guests can experience Australia's local wildlife including wombats, Red necked Wallabies, Wallaroos, Kangaroos, Sugar Gliders, Powerful Owls, Boobook Owls, Wedge tailed Eagles, Glossy Black Cockatoos, Eastern Spine bills and the occasional Echidna. The Tiny House boasts a cosy outdoor fireplace, eco-friendly solar powered, private outdoor BBQ and eating area. You will have access to the Tiny Home views and the area around. Feel free to explore and enjoy the common property including the nearby Yengo National Park and Watagan State forest. You can engage in various activities, such as Wine tasting, Hot air ballooning, helicopter joy flights, horse riding, canoeing, bushwalking, trail bike riding and cycling in the Hunter Valley area. Laguna Wine Bar and Laguna Providore are 5 minutes down the road for café coffees, meals, fine cheeses, small goods, fruit, veg and other yummy surprises. The historic town of Wollombi is 8 minutes from the property while Cessnock and Pokolbin are 45 minutes away. Newcastle and the Central Coast are 1 hour away and only one and a half hours drive North of Sydney’s CBD. The Tiny house has a Double sized-bed on the top floor, a bench seat on the first floor that can be used as a single bed. The tiny house also provides shower, toilet, stove, oven and power plugs for charging electrical devices. Outside there is a great undercover balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine and BBQ. For colder days we offer extra blankets, an electric blanket and an outdoor fire pit for use with free firewood available to make your own fire for warmth! We also include basic cooking amenities, toiletries, hotel luxury linen and towels. There is Wi-Fi and wi-fi calling at the property, there is very minimal to no phone reception with Optus and Telstra. We are able to turn the Wi-Fi off at your request if you would like the full off grid experience. Allawah Bush Retreat attracts guests that come to unwind from the digital world and connect with the bush, wildlife, themselves, their beloved partner or friend. Guest access Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you access information for the duration of your stay once your booking is confirmed. It is recommended accessible by 4WD and SUV style cars with a higher ground clearance but can be accessed by 2WD cars with caution. We request that you leave your shoes at the front door and where possible leave suitcases downstairs. Other things to note Allawah Tiny Home Retreat is designed as a comfortable couples retreat and offering up to 3 guests at a time. Linen: 1 set of full bed linen and 1 bath towel per person are supplied. Guests may wish to bring extra towels depending on the length of their stay. Guest Amenities: kitchen necessities: Black tea, herbal teas, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil spray, paper towel, plates, bowls, drinking glasses and wine glasses. kitchen utensils for basic cooking is also available. Bathroom: Hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, one bath towel per person, one hand towel. The shower is gas heated for super-hot showers This Tiny home is Eco-Friendly true off grid bush living with solar power only, filtered tank water and enviro-cycle waste treatment. We ask you to keep this in mind when using power and water (shower) consumption. As the owners live in the main house we ask that you are respectful of their privacy. Other things to note: - No smoking allowed in the tiny house - Please smoke outside and use the ashtray provided - No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed - BBQ grill on balcony - Outdoor fire pit are available for guests to use on stable wind conditions. Bushland is surrounding the hole suburb of Laguna. we will let you know upon arrival whether it is safe to light up the fire pit. - No pets allowed due to wildlife residence Keep in mind that the outdoor fire pit is not available during the fire season - Make sure to turn off the lights, and electronics, close windows, and lock doors when leaving the house - Please note that checkout time is strictly 10am on the day of your departure. A $10 per minute fee will be charged for every minute after 10am that any guest has over stayed unless a late checkout has been agreed upon. Registration Details Exempt
