Sleep like a baby Long Valley VW California campervans can accommodate up to four persons. The press of a button activates the electric pop-top roof complete with a front opening panoramic canvas, ideal for sunbathing, stargazing or just simply for those who like to let the outside in. There is no compromise on comfort for those sleeping on the upper level either as the roof houses the second double bed with a fully sprung double comfort mattress. Go off-grid or book a campsite? Go off-grid, book a campsite or a mixture of both, the choice is yours. The onboard leisure battery means there’s no compromise on comfort if you want to wild camp, it will provide enough power for all your home comforts. Or if you choose to stay at a campsite with a hook-up facility simply plug in. Our vans have two 240 amp sockets with built-in USB charging points. Worried about the weather? There’s no need with the VW Ocean, they have thought of everything. A flick of a switch will activate a thermostatically controlled heating system and the van will be warm and toasty in no time, ideal for all year-round campervanning adventures. Keep it simple Keep it simple or go all out, cooking in the camper van is a real pleasure with a built-in double gas hob. Also supplied is everything you will need to cook and dine in style, either inside or out with the gas-powered BBQ. The VW Ocean also comes with a moveable worktop/dining table, 42l fridge freezer, a sink with running water and plenty of storage space including a rear wardrobe. Stowed in the rear tailgate is an additional table and chairs for those times when dining al fresco. This is definitely a holiday where you can leave the kitchen sink at home! Sit back & relax After a long day exploring, there’s nothing better than returning to the van to take things easy. Whether you simply want to sit back, relax, read a book, listen to your latest playlist or cook up a culinary feast you’ll find everything you need within easy reach. Our vans have been kitted out with everything you should need for your campervanning holiday Other things to note Drivers All drivers must: Be aged between 25 and 70 Have held a full UK or EU driving licence for a minimum of 2 years Have not had their licence suspended for any period within the last 3 years Have not been involved in more than one fault incident within the last 3 years Have no more than 2 convictions with a maximum of 3 points per conviction. Driver Licence and Identification required Prior to collection of the vehicle, customers must forward to Long Valley Campers Ltd the following: The valid UK or EU driving licence 2 utility bills providing proof of address dated within 3 months of the hire date Long Valley Campers Ltd will contact you with details on how to do this. These same documents must also be presented as identification upon collection. Prior to collection of the vehicle, customers must have an authorised £750 security deposit. This deposit is taken as security to cover; Damage, whether negligent, wilful, accidental or otherwise to the van or its fixtures and fittings Any penalty charges incurred during the period of the vehicle hire (parking tickets, speeding fines, toll road charges etc.) Late return fee Fuel refill charge Return by post any left items Valeting fee Lost keys The customer must irrevocably authorise Long Valley Campers Ltd to deduct from the security deposit any amounts due by the customer arising out of this agreement. The security deposit will be released once the vehicle has been returned; On-time To the correct location Undamaged With a clean interior A full tank of fuel All fixtures and fittings are in good clean and working condition. Long Valley Campers Ltd reserve the right to retain part of the security deposit for the following; A late return charge of £50.00 per hour if the van is returned after the agreed drop-off time. A fuel refill charge covers the cost of fuel to refill the tank and a £20.00 collection fee. A £100.00 valeting fee if the vehicle is not returned in a clean and tidy condition. All transactions under this agreement are conducted in pounds sterling. Due to exchange rate fluctuations, there could be some variance between the amount initially debited against the customer’s payment card and the amount refunded. The customer agrees to release Long Valley Campervans Ltd from any liability for such variance.
