I pride myself in giving my guests a relaxing, peaceful home to get away to. If you are coming for a week or a weekend, you will enjoy the amenities that are offered. Access to a private beach on Lake Huron that is great for swimming and walking. House is surrounded by a small woods with enjoyable wildlife. Location is minutes from downtown Oscoda, world class golfing at Lakewood Shores, the Au Sable River, Huron National Forrest, and so much more. Home is very comfortable, so you will be to. Sit on back deck and enjoy birds, deer, and rabbits ,or just bbq. Have a cup of coffee on front porch and watch the sunrise over the lake. You will feel like you are away from it all but with still having the amenities nearby. The home is themed with the outdoors in mind. It is located on a side street with low traffic. I have full kitchen with what ever you need. My beds are all ways comfortable and with nice linens and you have those towels too. The beach is not far, but when you get there,you pretty much have it to your self. The water is clean and you have a nice beach to walk over a mile on. There are no houses along beach so you really feel like you left it all behind. There are chairs to use on beach and a cooler and cart to carry it in. You have self check in and if know other customers coming at check out you can take your time. We seem to work it out . You have access to a cart to pull down to beach supplied with chairs, cooler, and umbrella. I have a water hose and bucket outside to wash your feet and body off after a day at the beach. There is over a mile of beach to walk. The kitchen is fully stocked with want you need to cook or bbq. You have access to all of home and yard which is 3 lots,so a lot of room for life to explore. I will be in town most of your stay. If a problem comes about, I will do by best to address it. I am always only a text or phone call away. On rare occasions, I may have to get something from my private entrance in storage, but in most cases you will not interact with me unless needed. I am more than willing to help and give advice on outings in area. Lakewood shores golf course featuring three courses. Canoeing, tubing, and kayaking down the Au Sable River. Rental's nearby Huron National Forest has trails for dirt-bikes, four wheelers, and off-road vehicles. Small Town shopping in Tawas (South of Oscoda) Fishing and boating on Van Etten Lake, Au Sable River, and Cedar Lake. Lots of inland lakes around area. Cedar Lake has a no cost public boat ramp to put in jet skis, boat's, kayaks, etc. House has access to a private beach on Lake Huron. The beach area is clean and quiet. A beach cart is provided that includes chairs and an umbrella. The house is surrounded by woods. The yard is sprayed so bugs are not a issue most of the time. There is also a fire pit to sit and enjoy fire's and smores in the back yard. Oscoda is a small town with a big heart and a big up north feel. Lots of biking trails, walking paths, and public transportation. For the most part traffic in the area is light. I consider my yard to be an up north yard with lots of birds, wildlife and flowers. You will NOT have access to main house garage. If there is a excursion you would like to go on or site seeing, I will try to steer you in the right direction. I would appreciate if you can water my flowers when needed, which I've made very easy to do. If that is not possible let me know and I will make arrangements to have it done.
