HORSE FARM Retreat, Newer Built Private Guesthouse

Escape to our private guesthouse located in our peaceful but lively 7-acre farm with our family of horses, ponies, Guinea hens, ducks, roosters, chickens, bunnies, cats, & very lovable dogs. Enjoy grabbing fresh eggs, giving animals treats, puppies belly rubs, grilling, making s’mores at the fire pit, and enjoying the farm life! PLEASE read entire listing if little ones will be joining :-) NOTE: Our horses are not available for riding (see our guidebook for great alternate options) The space Our recently built private Guesthouse is detached and separate from the main house on a 7-acre lively Farm. You can enjoy and have the private guesthouse space all to yourself. The guest house is approximately 900 sq ft. and has everything you need to feel more than comfortable! It has a private entrance and offers a charming 2-bedrooms and 1-bathroom, with a full kitchen, living room, and dining room. Enjoy Private Wi-Fi internet access and a 34” flat-screen TV. Complimentary s’mores kit, coffee, and farm fresh eggs for breakfast! You can find the eggs in the coop or around the Farm. It is a Breakfast scavenger hunt! Please note that based on the season the egg production is reduced and we cannot guarantee fresh eggs during your entire visit. The chickens seasonally become freeloaders, especially during the colder months. You will hear and be close to our family of farm animals during your stay. We provide white noise machines and floor fans to help if the Roos get a little too alarm-clucky. Guest access You will have the entire Guesthouse all to yourself. The exterior amenities such as the chicken coop, playground, and firepit will also be available. The Barn will also be available so you can pet and give horses approved treats (such as baby carrots)….but please DO NOT OPEN any Barn stalls or closed doors. The exterior acres will be shared with us. Please note this is a lively farm and you will see us around the property a lot feeding the herd, riding horses, cleaning, building, etc. We will do our best to stay out of your way, but come see us if you want to chat. We love meeting our guests! Our dogs are outside with us constantly and our livestock gentle guardian dog is 90% outside. Please note we do not offer horseback riding tours, but see our Guidebook for great riding local recommendations. Other things to note ATTENTION: Here are a few things to note about our place: 1) All Children must be under 100% adult supervision at ALL times. All of our farm animals are all friendly, but animals can be unpredictable. Horses spook easily, and can cause injur ies if children go in their stalls, pastures, or walk behind/under them. Please make sure all children understand our farm rules and the importance of respecting the Horses for their safety. 2) We have 4 large dogs, which are very friendly and lovable. If the dogs are outside, they will come to greet you for pets and love, and may love bark on their way to you, and try to give you unexpected face kisses. 3) Our birds free roam the property and LOVE guests. They will come to greet you and ask for food, even though they run away from you if you try to pet them. Our roosters wake up between 4 am and 6 am. If you are a very light sleeper, we provide a white noise speaker for sleeping, a floor fan, and a wall fan. The main bedroom is very soundproof, however, the guest bedroom is closer to the coop and you can hear the "alarm cocks" if you don’t use the floor fan and white noise. 4) Our horses are friendly, gentle, love being pet. They are always in the pastures, and secured. However, the pony is an escape artist and will do victory laps around the property if he escapes! If you see a free-roaming horse, CALL US IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT APPROACH FREE ROAMING HORSES. Also, please NEVER feed the horses unapproved treats. Improper nutrition could cause them to colic (very luxurious Vet bill). 5) We are currently building and improving multiple structures such as the bunny coop, fence, barn, landscaping, etc. Please expect to see construction material. 6) We do provide firewood for you to light and maintain the firepit. Although the firepit is large, please DO NOT make fires taller than 6 ft. NEVER go to bed or leave the property without putting out the fire. There is a hose very closely located to the fire pit at the barn. 7) PLEASE review all 10 Farm Rules in the “RULES” section before booking. :-)
