Comfortable and cosy with a log fire and underfloor heating, it has an instantly inviting ambience. Hidden away on Table Cape in the grounds of the landmark Table House Farm in NW Tasmania, with stunning views and a private beach, it feels remote yet is only 5 minutes from Wynyard. The space This was an extremely popular little “Hide-Away Cabin” studio before we transformed it into something even more special. We’ve now added a beautiful conservatory with a new kitchen, dining and living area, a wood fire and underfloor heating. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a Miele dishwasher, a pyrolytic oven, a microwave and a small induction cooktop and is stocked with essential everyday ingredients. There's a smart TV in the living room so you can access any streaming service you want. You’ll feel like you’re living right in the landscape with glorious 180 views across green fields to Bass Strait. The sun beating through the windows around the conservatory warms the Lodge beautifully in winter. In summer you can open the louvres and it cools instantly. Guest access Guests are welcome to help themselves to fresh salad and vegetables in season from our "Lockup" - a kitchen garden room protected from wildlife. The most special place on our 60 acre farm is "our" beach. The only access is through our property, unless you come by boat, so it's very private. It's a bit of a climb coming back up the hill but if you happen to have a four wheel drive you could drive down most of the way, subject to the condition of the paddocks and at your own risk of course. Pack a picnic and spend hours down there. Take a fishing rod. You'll almost always catch something. Other things to note 1. There is an electric vehicle charger on the premises. 2. There are external security cameras that are not directed to any leisure areas. 3. Table House, is also listed on Airbnb but, to ensure your exclusivity, we never let both places at the same time. We often stay on the property in which ever place is unoccupied so you may see us occasionally in the grounds but otherwise you would hardly know we were here. Your privacy would always be assured as the two dwellings are very soundproof, have different driveway entrances and are separated by a tall hedge.
