Mudgee - The Orchard Cottage - Gooree Farm Stays

The Orchard Cottage sits at the edge of Gooree’s orchard. Sleeping 6, the cottage welcomes both pets and children although both will need to be supervised to ensure both guests and resident horses stay safe. The Cottage has been lovingly renovated in warm country cottage style, but with a contemporary twist. Rooms are light and airy for easy open plan living and link to large outdoor spaces. The Orchard Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the Mudgee region or simply doing nothing at all. The space Located approximately 8.5km from Mudgee, Orchard Cottage is situated on a large working horse stud - Gooree Park. One of the original farm houses, Orchard Cottage enjoys beautiful views over peaceful horse paddocks and sweeping views of mature trees and rolling hills. Being a working stud, you will hear the odd farm ute puttering around as the horses are moved or if it is feed time, but other than that, all you will hear is bird song and the wind in the trees. Guest access When you stay at the Orchard Cottage you will have the entire place to yourself. No noisy neighbours and far from the madding crowd. The house has a large yard – both front and back – with plenty of space for ball games or lounging under the trees. Please don’t hesitate to contact her if you have any questions. Other things to note Pets & Children: As mentioned, both children and pets are welcome at the Orchard House. The majority of the yard is fenced, but it is not 100% enclosed and both kids and pets will need to be supervised. This is a working farm with stud workers moving quietly about managing horses and cattle. This should not impact your stay in anyway and hopefully will be a feature of your stay with us. Safety on Site: Please drive carefully and slowly when you arrive at Gooree. The road to the Orchard Cottage takes you past many horse paddocks and yards.
