Ski the trails, skate on the rink, tube down the hills, bask in the spa, and come home and unplug with a great book or tea next to the fireplace. At the Misty Mountain Escape, you'll be immersed in the natural beauty of the region with lake & mountain views while being central to the core. Welcome to your home. Yes, the cover photo is your unobstructed view from all three levels! Hope you like it as much as we do! Our guesthouse is in the Cascade Reach community of Suncadia. We have three sleeping quarters: two en-suite bedrooms upstairs, and a lower level loft style bunk-room with a detached bathroom. Both bedrooms on the top floor are En-suite. The Master bedroom has a King bed and its own patio deck. The Junior Master bedroom has a Queen Bed and a space for a pack-n-play or portable crib. The lower level bunk room has a twin over full bunk bed in a loft-style setting. This space is best suited for children. The third bathroom is on the main floor as the kitchen and living/dining space and has a tub. The kitchen is well appointed with a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Everything you need for home cooked meals is available (including awesome steak knives). The living room is a cozy spot with a leather sofa and lounge chair and two ottomans. The TV is a 50 inch Roku smart TV in Guest Mode. This will allow you to bring your own streaming media passwords/logins and will automatically log you out of everything upon check-out. We are a five minute walk to the Lodge, Glade Spring Spa, The Inn, and the activities center. You will be central to everything and can easily access the facilities to rent bikes, mopeds, canoes, games, trailheads, and in winter - cross-country skis, ice skates, and snow tubes. Restaurants are plenty. Please realize that private units such as ours and any off-site booking platform DO NOT have access to the Swim and Fitness Center. (That is why you are not charged a $75 daily resort fee). If access to the Swim and Fitness Center is something you desire, please book through the Suncadia reservation directly. PLEASE make sure that this limitation is clear in setting visit expectations. Simple access is the key to this unit. You have privacy, a dedicated parking spot (garage and directly in front), and a unique door code for easy entry. The entire home is yours during your stay. (We keep a private separate storage space at the basement). Especially useful year-round is the access to the enclosed, private garage. This means so much when traveling with young families. It can fit a standard SUV but will not be tall enough for a SUV with roof rack. Please confirm clearance! For security reasons and garage access, you will first access through the main door with your keyless entry code and then open the garage from the inside. To close the garage, you will push the “close” button for two seconds. We aim to have everything you need so you have a worry free stay. We are readily accessible to assist you during your stay. Parking is limited to two cars — one car can use the garage, and the other can be in the driveway. Overflow guest parking is available within Cascade Reach and at the Inn.
