Casa del Castillo welcomes you into its beautiful 100 year old adobe home, on an acre of land in the quiet valley of Los Ojos. It is a retreat from the city, where you can watch the sunrise over the hillside and stargaze from the back patio. Our home will allow you to truly unwind and then connect with the beauty of Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado. The space Casa del Castillo is an ideal retreat for families or friends seeking a weekend away. As you enter through the side entrance, conveniently located across from the parking area, you'll find yourself welcomed into a cozy abode. The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with pots, pans, and basic spices, making it easy to make a delicious meal. The layout includes four bedrooms, with three located upstairs, providing ample space for everyone to unwind. Two full bathrooms ensure convenience for all guests. The home features a kitchen, dining room, and a comfortable living area. While there's no air conditioning, the adobe walls work their magic, naturally keeping the interior pleasantly cool during the summer months. Additionally, there are two porch areas where you can soak in the charm of the surroundings. While the driveway remains accessible year-round, having a 4x4 vehicle during winter months is recommended for optimal convenience. Plenty of parking available for trailers, multiple vehicles or outdoor equipment. Whether you're escaping for a needed retreat or gathering for a weekend of fun and camaraderie, Casa del Castillo offers comfort and charm in every season.
