Two spacious double rooms one with a single bed too ….one downstairs single room acess to en suite - snug room double sofa bed . This property was built in the natural spring hamlet around mid to late 1600's. Not typical of a stone cottage it is light and airy with exposed walls - do not book if you cant take a bit of fresh air!. The cottage is beautifully restored to expose beams and natural chalk stone walls, with the thatch recently replaced. The back of the cottage opens out south facing capturing the warm sun, a perfect spot for yoga when the morning sun presents its light. The dining area offers a very social environment with a designer stone and oak dining table for 10. Perfect for a low key party or family celebration. Secluded landscape and surrounded by rolling hills; providing a number of short or long walks. The original stair case is semi circular, so be awar of this if have mobility issues... the bedroom downstairs offers a bright light and en suite for less mobile guests. Bathroom upstairs has a petit claw footed bath, round stone basin and shower. Each bedroom has wardrobe space and plenty of light. The flooring is wooded and restored annually. Cotswolds are 20 minute drive, Faringdon,, Shrivenham, Cricklade , Highworth, Marlborough, Cirencester Fairford (Air tattoo 23)Letchlade, The Lakes, Swindon, Oxford, Bicester village, Wanborough, Cirencester all close to the property Guest access Entire house- large kitchen; large living area;., office ….cosy snug living area with log burner - please bring fire lighters & logs to enjoy your cosy night in the snug… if you forget I can provide … Two double rooms and one single room down stairs en suite and a portable single bed Garden Patio own entrance Teas coffees lemon ginger honey provided for refreshments When arrival time agreed (don't be shy to ask for an earlier check in, if i can accomodate I always will :).
