Inside, the home opens to a spacious combined kitchen, living and dining area, featuring floor-to-ceiling bay windows that frame the magnificent lake scenery. Down the hallway are three generously sized bedrooms, each with sweeping lake views that can be admired from the comfort of your bed. The large bathroom includes an antique cast-iron bathtub — perfect for unwinding after a day on the water. There is also a separate powder room and a full laundry for your convenience. Ducted air conditioning and heating ensure comfort throughout the seasons. Outdoors, enjoy a generous alfresco dining area complete with an eight-seater dining table, Weber BBQ, and a jumbo fire pit overlooking the lake and surrounding mountains. The grounds boast an established orchard of more than 50 fruiting trees, along with productive vegetable gardens offering fresh herbs, pumpkins, and potatoes for your stay. In front of the house lies half a kilometre of absolute water frontage on Wallis Lake. With a mix of sand, mud flats, and a private reef, the waters provide world-class fishing and crabbing — with blue swimmer and mud crabs commonly caught just metres from the shore. The reef is a renowned spot for sizeable bream, while the expansive flathead grounds beyond are known to produce impressive catches. Spanning eight acres, the property offers many peaceful locations to relax and take in the surroundings. Families will love the large trampoline and abundant wildlife, including kangaroos, deer, ducks, black swans, pelicans, and countless native bird species. A mature rainforest features unique and historic exotic trees. An electric vehicle (EV) charger is available for guest use in the parking area. Photos in the listing show the lounges prepared with bedding; once cushions are removed, each offers a comfortable sleeping space for one guest. Full sheet sets, pillows, doonas and extra blankets are supplied. Please ensure the correct number of guests is included in your booking so adequate linen and amenities are provided.
