Nature Escape with Balcony View

Experience the countryside life in a calm and relaxing place surrounded by lush nature. Enjoy the rural atmosphere of the rice fields and palm trees on your balcony or watch the sunset over the mountains. Relax and listen to the singing of a bird. The space Spacious bedroom with air conditioning, private bathroom and balcony with panoramic view over the Doi Luang Chiang Dao Mountain, fish ponds, longan orchard and rice fields. It is very nice and comfortable to watch the sunset on the balcony with a drink and wake up to the mountain view. The room is furnished with a king size bed, desk table, japanese style coffee table, wardrobe and a mini fridge. The bedroom is on the second floor in a two-story house with a shared living room, dining room, kitchen and an outdoor patio to hang out. The garden is wide and you can go for a stroll and observe the farmers working in the fields. Other things to note Experience the countryside life... Bus/minivan from Chiang Mai (Chang Phueak Terminal 1) to Bus Station Chiang Dao Town (approximately 1 hour ride) or take a Grab/private taxi directly to the accommodation. It is highly recommended to have your own transport as there are almost no taxi, tuk tuks or Grabs around Chiang Dao. We have motorbikes (300thb/day) and bicycles (150thb/day) to rent. If you like walking, you can go around the neighborhood and still find shops with snacks, drinks or local food owned by villagers. Walk for about 25 minutes and reach the nearest 7/11 in the center. Chiang Dao has many tourist attractions such as Chiang Dao Cave and The Giant Tree Alley (10 min drive), Sri Sungwan Waterfall (30 min drive), Hot Springs (15min) but it particularly offers many cafés with beautiful places where you can just stay and relax. Every Friday, there is an afternoon market (around 4-5 pm) near our house. You can easily walk (5 min) to the market to find some fruits, vegetable, seafood, spices, Thai desserts and other all prepared local dishes. On Tuesday, there is the tribal market in town. Chiang Dao is a must if you are heading to Fang, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai or Pai or if you just want a nice place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of big cities.
