1940’s Farm house
Cute 1940’s farmhouse. Fenced backyard for guests traveling with pets. Pet Deposit required to help pay for the additional cleaning. Horses allowed for a fee. Fenced pasture behind house available for up to 3 horses. This is a working cattle ranch. 320 acres to explore with numerous wooded trails and pasture land. Cattle are not to be disturbed and pets must be on a leash. Small town with restaurants and one grocery store 10 minutes away Walking on property allowed. Give cattle wide birth. Horses and donkeys ok to approach. If a gate is shut you may go through it. Just close it behind you. Questions are encouraged. We prefer giving guests space and keep interactions at a minimum. Since this is a working ranch we typically do not have time to socialize. We are available for questions or suggestions any time by phone or text Mt Ida, Queen Wilhamina lodge, Wolf Den Gap ATV trails and several lakes are all within an hour of our location Walking on property is allowed. Prior communication is encouraged however. Scott County is a dry county. The nearest Beer, wine and other adult beverages are sold an hour away. Grocery store is NOT 24 hours and the restaurants close earlier than in larger towns.
