Boasting four bedrooms and plenty of outdoor space for entertaining it makes for a perfect beach vacation. You will always know your on a beach vacation while a guest at The Beach House on 17th. The house is decorated with a beach vibe and has lots of windows to let the sunshine in! The Beach House on 17th is 2 blocks to the beach, 11 blocks to the Historic Strand and a short 6 blocks to the Pleasure Pier on 25th. This beach house was built in 1901 and is a total of 1344 sq. feet plus outdoor areas. The house has a programable Ecobee thermostat with electric central heat & air as well as a mini split AC for added comfort. Downstairs includes the living area, 1/2 bath, dining area with table for 8, kitchen with double oven & gas stove. The downstairs covered deck opens off the living room and into the front yard, it is a perfect place for a get-together with plenty of seating, ceiling fans, subtle lighting and is shady and serene all day long. Upstairs is (4) bedrooms and a full bath with a tub/shower combo. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and two have smart TVs. The upstairs deck can be accessed by the staircase leading up from the downstiars deck or from the upstairs Queen bedroom. The views from the upper deck will take your breath away both at sunrise and sunset . The upper deck is perfect for sunbathing during the day and hors' douvres and drinks in the evening. All outdoor space is lighted with string and rope lighting for the perfect evening atmosphere. STR #GVR10913 Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house minus two owner's closets which will be locked. Guests will also have full access to three outdoor social areas including a great front porch for morning coffee with rocking chairs, a large covered patio off the living area and a large roof top deck above the downstairs patio perfect for sunbathing or evening dining with a staircase leading to the downstairs patio area as well as a door leading into one of the upstairs bedrooms. Other things to note The house has a stackable washer & dryer in the shed located outside adjacent to the private back deck. There is also a propane gas grill located off the back deck for grilling. We always supply a couple days worth of most necessities such as toilet paper, soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods, sugar, hand soaps, bandaids & other first aid supplies and laundry detergent. The garbage can is located in the alley beside the house and is for guests to use and leave in its place for city pickup. Please remove all trash from the house upon checkout. Animals We do not allow animals on property. Guests found to have allowed animals on property or into the house will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. Guests will also be charged unauthorized pet(s) fee of $500 per pet as well as any damage to or additional cleaning fees needed to meet Airbnb’s standards.
