Self-contained, ultra-modern guesthouse with pool

Our modern, fully self-contained, one-bedroom guesthouse is the perfect place to explore Darwin and its surrounds. It's one of the few Airbnbs around with a pool (but it's very hot in Darwin, so we may need to use it occasionally too). It’s 1-bedroom but we have two foldout single beds that can accommodate an extra child or two. It's the bottom floor of our elevated home, but is completely separate with its own entrance. You may hear the odd footstep above, but we do our best to tiptoe. The space If you feel like a sun-downer, fire up your own BBQ and enjoy the barmy Darwin evenings by the shared pool. Or perhaps relax inside and stream a movie on the guesthouse TV. You can stay cool in the air conditioning, or flick on a fan and open-up the glass louvers to catch some breeze. The nights are only broken by the sounds of crickets and magpie geese. Our guesthouse is brand new and includes a full kitchen. There's a stove-top oven, microwave, and all the appliances, cookware and crockery you'll need to cook up a storm. The space is perfect for a single or couple – the bedroom has a queen-sized bed with ample space for a cot – plus there’s two fold-out single beds, perfect for an extra child or two if needed. The bathroom en-suite includes a washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes airer. Rapid Creek is close to the airport and is a brief trip to the city. We are a short walk to the both the Rapid Creek and Nightcliff shops, each of which have bustling markets on the weekend. Take an evening stroll and explore the breathtaking foreshore sunsets and food stalls. The best coffee this side of town is a few blocks away, and in the other direction is a lovely local wine bar with live music. Perfect for those seeking something a little different. Free parking at the front of the property is available on our quiet cul-de-sac: there's no problems competing for parks. Guest access The guesthouse has it's own entrance, and is not connected to the upstairs, so you'll only need to see us if there's anything we can help you with. Other things to note I live upstairs with my wife and our two (mostly well-behaved) daughters (9 and 11 years old). We have a very friendly (and quiet) puppy.
