Our private suite sleeps three (king bed and x-long twin) and is just 3 miles from Pisgah National Forest—perfect for any WNC adventure. Hit nearby trails, cast a line, explore waterfalls, or enjoy charming mountain towns, breweries, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Biltmore House. No matter your pace, our cozy creekside suite is ready to make your stay unforgettable. The space Set on a wooded one-acre lot with a flowing creek at the back, our private daylight walkout basement suite offers plenty of space to relax. Enjoy several outdoor seating areas—like the lower patio with a fire pit or the creekside deck—perfect for taking in the peaceful natural surroundings. PRIVATE MIL Suite Includes: - Kitchenette with sink, mini fridge, portable single induction burner, microwave, convection toaster oven, crock-pot, coffee maker, kettle, kitchen tools, - Charming stocked coffee/tea bar, - Eat in kitchen (table and chairs, seating for three), - Bedroom with king bed, - Sleeping nook with x-long twin bed, - Living room with tv and electric fireplace, - Bathroom with toilet, shower, sink, washer + dryer, - Private entrance and parking, - Puzzles, games, coloring books, and books in hutch, * Upon request: pack n' play, crib mattress to lay on the floor, and/ or high chair seat. Our Family of Five: Because this is our family home, we're available to share local tips and are always happy to get to know our guests. If you prefer privacy, we’re just as happy to give you space. Our Pet: INSIDE dog, Lily (Rhodesian Ridgeback): When Lily hears you walk up the lower level sidewalk, she might greet you with a bark from INSIDE our main living space. She is friendly and energetic. If you see Lily outside, she will be on a leash as Brett takes her on one of her multiple daily walks around the neighborhood. Steps -Only one step up from the gravel sidewalk into the suite. Other things to note Please note: This is our home which we are thrilled to share with you! Because we want this vacation to be full of beautiful memories for you, we make every effort to honor and respect your space while you are our guests. Sounds around our home and property: - This space is new (completed in 2021), so we used the latest building materials including extra insulation. We live above the basement in-law suite, therefore you will be able to hear us walking and moving around. We take every effort to be considerate of our guests. You should not be able to hear us talking, music, or the television. - We have an INSIDE dog, Lily. Possibly, at some point during the day, you might hear her bark once or twice, but not insistently. She is NOT a barky dog. When she is outside, she will be on a leash usually going for a walk in the neighborhood with Brett. She will wag her tail when she sees you, but no worries if you don't want to visit with her. - Creek: Outside you can hear the beautiful sound of water running. - Birds: We live in the woods, so our mornings begin with the sweet song of birds chirping.
