Ferienhaus Kargl is situated in the uspoilt mountain village of Gaal. Enjoy the views over the village, farmsteads and the mountains beyond in our lovingly furnished house and gardens. From the local swimming lake, tennis and beach-volley ball courts to scenic walks, bike-trails and the local ski-piste (with childrens’ ski courses, night-skiing and toboganning on offer), there is something for everyone! There are plenty of family-run Gasthäuser and ‘mountain huts’ to recommend in the area. ​ The space Our house has been lovingly furnished and decorated and comprises a large, comfortable living/dining room seating 6-8, with corner sofa and LED TV; a fully-equipped kitchen seating 4-6; and a separate utility/toilet with washing machine. On the first floor, there is an inviting reading nook (the ‘Erker’) with books to borrow in English and German; one twin bedroom; and a wonderfully spacious master bedroom, with super-king-size bed and its own seating area. The family bathroom (with bath and separate shower) is also on this floor. The top floor has a further bedroom with king-size bed and another twin bedroom both with views over the village, farmsteads and the mountains beyond. A travel cot is available. There is ample space in the large, sunny, inviting gardens to enjoy the flower beds, shrubs, and herbs. In summer, there are berries to nibble on, various seating areas with sun-umbrellas, use of the barbecue, sun loungers, outdoor toys and games, including table-tennis table and a children’s sand-pit. Other things to note - The balcony at the front of the house is out of bounds to guests. - Please take very special care on the stairs - they are steeper than usual.
