Railway Retreat - Cosy 2 bed

Enjoy our holiday cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Many lakes, fells and beaches are easily drivable. Birkrigg common isn’t far and gives lovely views. The Railway Inn pub is a 5-min walk away & serves food some evenings There are buses to both Barrow & Ulverston and beyond at the end of the road. Ulverston is famous for its festivals which attract lots of tourists. Barrow is only a 10-minute drive away for shops or if you want to go a little further Walney nature reserves are lovely. The space You enter our lovely home in to the dining/work space, then on in to the cosy lounge which benefits from a gas fire. The kitchen is to the rear of this and has oven, microwave, coffee machine, slow cooker and all the equipment you may need to cook. There is an enclosed rear yard with dining furniture and a private enclosed front grassed garden across the road through the gate behind the parking space opposite the house. Caution must be taken on the steep stairs which run through the centre of the house. Upstairs you will find 2 double bedrooms - the master has the en suite where you will find the only bath and shower facilities. There is a downstairs wc for guests staying in the second bedroom that do not want to walk through the master bedroom to use the toilet. A single z-bed can be made up at the foot of the bed in the bigger bedroom if needed. Petite persons or children recommended for this. Please note - If 2 are staying but need to use 2 beds an additional linen fee of £15 will be requested through air b n b. The same applies to if the zbed is required on a booking for 4 people or less. Pet fee of £15 and an additional £15 if over 2 pets are staying.
