Beautiful Cumbrian cottage: Cobblers Fold

Cobblers Fold is a beautiful Cumbrian cottage that retains its character and is a perfect base for a family getaway with plenty of walks and more on your doorstep. This lovely cottage is brimming with history and a short stroll brings you to the village centre, an idyllic setting with a famous Chocolate shop and cafe. For walkers, Orton scar and the Howgills are an exciting prospect celebrated by renowned fell walker Alfred Wainwright. The position is superb for both the Lakes and the Dales. Other things to note The Cottage is quirky and unusual set over two levels with the bunk room downstairs adjacent to the kitchen and the other bedrooms upstairs on the same floor as the lounge. There is a children's play corner and lots of adult and children's games to enjoy. There is one large bathroom on the ground floor. The kitchen is a farmhouse style with a table in the middle that seats 6. My own preference is to provide a rustic and homely feel. I am very conscious of the environmental footprint and aim to recycle and reuse where we can. there is an old aga in the kitchen which is fab to cook on and keeps everywhere cosy but don't worry there is a free standing cooker as well.
