Lovely 2-bedroom apartment with mountain views

Nestled in Ormeau Hills, with spectacular mountain views, this private 2-airconditioned bedroom apartment, on the ground floor in a double story house, is within minutes from the motorway and half-way between Brisbane and Gold Coast (25 minutes drive either way to Brisbane City or Surfers Paradise). Dream World, Movie World, Wet n' Wild, White Water World and Game Over Gold Coast are all only 10 minutes (or less) away. Xtreme Karting and Sideways Go Karting World are all within 10 minutes drive. The space 1. Getting here Ormeau Hills of north of Surfers Paradise and south of Brisbane City. When travelling from either direction, take Exit 45 off the M1. 2. Parking There is one visitor parking space in the carport just off the driveway. Parking for additional vehicles will have to be on the road. 3. Checking in and out Self-check-in and out facilities are provided. You will find the keys to the front doors (screen and main) in the key-box by the front door. Pin code to open the key box will be sent to you a day before check-in This entrance will be used solely by you and your guests. The rear doors (screen and sliding), out of the kitchen, both lock from the inside. You will check-in whenever you arrive and check-out by 10.00 am, to allow time for cleaners. Leave the keys back in key-box upon check-out. 4. Wi-Fi and Workstation Wi-Fi access is provided to you for your use. Responsible use of the internet is expected. 5. TV TV apps, including Netflix is available on the 65-inch TV. Parental discretion on what children watch is advised. 6. Longer stays If your stay is longer than one week, you will find additional towels and sheets in the wardrobes of the bedrooms. 7. Kitchen facilities You will find basic electrical and cooking items in the kitchen. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk has been provided to start your stay. Some other cooking ingredients are there for your use. You will find appliances/equipment/items you need either in the drawers, benchtops or the storage shelves. Cleaning equipment will be under the kitchen sink or beside the storage shelves. 8. Laundry facilities Washing machine and clothes line, outside the kitchen area, are provided for your convenience. You will find laundry powder/detergent in the tub next to the washing machine. 9. Reading materials and games You will find a small selection of reading materials and children’s games on a shelf in the storage area of the kitchen. 10. Safety Your safety is important to us. There is a doorbell camera by the front door to monitor access. This also covers the visitor car-park area. First aid kit and torches are placed on a shelf in the kitchen storage area. There is a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Front or rear exit doors can be used in case of evacuation. No naked flames, including candles, are allowed in the apartment. Smoking is prohibited inside the entire apartment. The backyard area or the upper deck can be used for this. Be careful on the steep driveway and the stairs leading to the upper deck. Rocks in the garden area are very unstable and all guests are to keep off these. 11. Outdoors There is an outdoor area at the back (access out of kitchen door). There is a small courtyard beside the laundry area which is for your private use. The shared upper deck can be accessed through 2 flights of stairs from there. You can enjoy amazing views from the deck. There is a BBQ and pool table for your use. BBQ utensils and cleaning materials will be under the BBQ. Guest access 1. Parking There is one visitor parking space in the carport just off the driveway. 2. Living Room Has a 3-seater and a 2-seater couch. There is a 65-inch Smart TV with complementary Netflix. There is also a workstation (desk, chair, computer) here. 3. Bedrooms There are 2 bedrooms both with queen beds. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning, fan and storage cupboard. 4. Bathroom/Toilet The bathroom is separate from the toilet. It has a hand basin, shower and a bath tub. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash is available in the shower. 5. Kitchen facilities You will find basic electrical and cooking items in the kitchen. Complimentary tea, coffee and milk will be provided to start your stay. Cleaning equipment will be under the kitchen sink or beside the storage shelves. 6. Laundry facilities There is a washing machine and clothes line outside the kitchen area. Laundry powder/detergent will be in the laundry tub next to the washing machine. 7. Outdoors There is an outdoor area at the back (access out of kitchen door). There is a small courtyard beside the laundry area. There is also a shared upper deck that offers amazing views which can be accessed through 2 flights of stairs. There is a BBQ and pool table here for your use. Other things to note Please note that the steep driveway and the staircases leading to the outdoor deck may not be suitable for the elderly or the less-abled. There are a number of rock gardens with unstable rocks. Parental supervision will be required to keep children off these gardens.
