Beautiful historic home in the Limerick/Old Louisville neighborhood, perfectly located 6 minutes from the downtown bourbon distilleries and 9 minutes from the Churchill Downs racetrack. Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms (upstairs bathroom fully renovated July 2025!), a complete kitchen, a groovy spinning disco ball, a Time Crisis 4 arcade shooting game, and a fenced-in backyard, on a quiet street near all of the wonderful things Louisville has to offer. The space Welcome to our home! We live in an original old forest "iron pine" brick house built in 1908, featuring tall ceilings, big original windows, and plenty of character. Our main floor includes a living room, dining room, and a den, as well as a full kitchen and a full bathroom. We have a working disco ball with pin spotlight in our entryway as well as a working Time Crisis 4 arcade shooting game in our den. Our four bedrooms and the second full bathroom are upstairs. Our fenced-in backyard includes an electric pellet grill as well as a patio dining set and a fire pit. You can even lounge under our tree cover in our hammock! We live here full time and have fantastic, respectful neighbors. Please help us keep it that way: **no parties or events.** We have a cat but they will be with us during your stay, so you will have the place to yourselves. Our home is over 100 years old, and we are doing our best to preserve it. In fact, your stay helps us afford home renovations, including our most recent FULLY RENOVATED upstairs full bathroom in July 2025! Our home is nestled in the urban community between the Old Louisville and Limerick historic preservation districts and downtown Louisville. Folks that are not used to city noise may notice some sounds from planes, trains, and automobiles; city pros may notice it's fairly quieter than the standard hustle and bustle. Guests may also notice neighbors from all walks of life during their stay, so we ask for our guests' help in keeping Louisville a compassionate city. Guest access The basement will remain locked and some closets will be blocked during your stay. Please do not access. While we do our best to keep the fridge and kitchen open for your items, local ordinances prevent us from sharing any food or drinks with you. **Please bring your own food, coffee, booze, and beverages.** The rest of our home is for you to relax in and enjoy. Other things to note As we mentioned before, our home is in a diverse urban community.
