The space The Barn is on our family farm that includes 3 other properties. The Barn is the only holiday let, the other properties include our home and permanent tenants. As you step inside and hang your coat your eyes are drawn to the high beamed ceiling and the mezzanine floor that extends over the kitchen area. You enter the open plan living area with plenty of comfy seats and large French doors that open out onto a raised decking area, ideal for some al fresco dining. There’s also a wood burning stove for those cooler evenings when you just want to cwtch up with a blanket. Free WiFi and Digital TV with Netflix. ​ At the opposite end of the living space is a fully equipped kitchen area, including integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Beyond the kitchen and down a short corridor you will find the king-size master bedroom with family bathroom next door. Upstairs is located a twin bedroom with ensuite WC. A door off the twin bedroom leads to the mezzanine area that overlooks the living area. The mezzanine has a daybed ideal for curling up with a book or a pair of headphones. This can be converted to two full-size single beds, ideal for children to share. ​Outside from the decking are steps that lead down to a large enclosed lawn area, BBQ available (Apr - Sept.) Alternative ramped access is provided via the front entrance to the barn. Our 10m indoor pool is at a constant depth of 1.2m with easy stepped access and heated all year round. Facilities include hot-tub, sauna and changing rooms as well as a seating area and table-tennis. Folding doors open up onto an outdoor area with views of the valley. You can also now book a range of beauty therapies and treatments at The Barn through a well-established local provider. Details available on request. Guest access Guests have sole use of the barn and pool building. The large enclosed garden is also just for guests staying at the barn. Other things to note Changeover days are Monday and Friday only. Requests for stays arriving or leaving on a different day may not be accepted.
