The Aalayam is a cosy cottage with a backyard and a front lawn, giving you an ample space of luxurious stay away from the congested city life. In this digital era, we focus on providing a peaceful stay to our guests, wherein we want our guests to enjoy the healthy yet delicious meals, and spend quality time with their loved ones. @Aalayam - There are no jostling crowds, no Mall road, no Traffic jams & far enough to be pin drop silent after sunset. The space The place has 3 Bedrooms but with 4 Beds each with mountain view and a living area, which includes a dining hall, a library section & fully equipped kitchen. Start your morning with tea on the swing chair while gazing at the beautiful mountains. Take a morning walk in the natural trail winding along a verdant hillside with views of the surrounding valley - which is just one step away from the property. Enjoy your lip smacking breakfast in the front lawn enjoying the beauty of the greenery & majestic Himalayan view. Cottage will itself charm you with its beauty at every corner, indoor or outdoor, you would not like to step away from here. Our caretaker makes delicious food and we are willing to offer you healthy and home made meals on request, at minimum cost. ‘Property highlights’ :: - 2 Bedroom are situated on the first floor for 4 adults with kids along with a common washroom. - 1 Family suite on the second floor having a special bunk bed for 4 adults with children with an ensuite / private bathroom. - Ground floor single occupancy with private washroom where your elderly parents can rest in comfort without having to climb up-stairs. - All rooms offer spectacular views of the Kumaon Hills & Himalayas, so you can wake up & head to the windows allowing the cool breeze to gently embrace you. - Spend some time in the living room, having meals and chit-chats with your special ones. - There's a dedicated cozy work-setup in the living room and a small library section for our book lovers along with Free WIFI - Enjoy family/friend time by playing various Board Games like carom Board, card, uno, chess, zenga etc. - Invest your time in getting old memories by playing Badminton in our backyard area. - Do some Karaoke with Big Party Music boom box and show your singing skills. NOTE - PLEASE DO NOT FLUSH TOILET PAPERS NOTE - PLEASE DISCARD ALL FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS INTO DUSTBIN Guest access All Other things to note - Cottage is spacious & accommodate 8-9 Pax. - You will have access to parking inside premises. - We have installed security cameras to make sure the maximum safety of our guests. - Being in the lap of nature, we want the maximum utilisation of the resources & therefore the meals are only prepared on request & as per guests' needs. ( Meals are on Actuals ) - You can ask the caretaker to prepare the meal Veg/Non-Veg (Max 2 dishes / meal) and he will take care of the rest for you. - You will only need to pay for the items which were bought in the preparation of the dishes on MRP basis & nominal charges for caretaker services like Buying, Preparing, Serving, Cleaning etc. (2 - 3 Pax = 600 Rs | 4 - 5 Pax - 800 Rs | 6 - 7 Pax - 1000 Rs | 8 - 9 Pax - 1350 Rs) - We don't charge our guests for basic items like tea/sugar/oil/spices/etc. and all of the before-mentioned will be provided by us in the property. - We have a fully-equipped kitchen with Gas, refrigerator, Juicer, toaster, mixer-grinder, oven & other necessary utensils. Since, you have access to the kitchen, you can be your own chef too. - We want our guests to enjoy privacy in the property and hence the caretaker will be in the premises between 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. In case you need him to stay back to serve you dinner, you would need to pay EXTRA CHARGES for the service. - Bonfire setup on request - (Chargeable) - Barbeque setup on request - (Chargeable) - Being in the mountain region, some unforeseen issues related to WATER/ELECTRICITY can be faced, apologies for the same as we are not professional hoteliers. - We have put our hearts in decor & designing the property for our guests. To keep you serving in a better way, please BE RESPONSIBLE to the property & help us in maintaining the good health of the same. - We ensure a sanitized stay for our guests, so please ensure to CHECK-IN between (1 PM - 5 PM) & CHECK-OUT (10 AM - 11 AM) during the specified time so, we can sanitize the property for the next guest too. - Do carry a photocopy or share your ID's ! It will be needed at check in.
