Private Maine Lake Getaway on Cobbosseeconte

Come enjoy the Maine summertime and early Fall at Mitchell Camp on Lake Cobbosseeconte. A mere 25 feet from the water, our cottage has 100 feet of waterfront and private dock and beach access. It also boasts spectacular sunsets and the lack of weeds and rocky depth around the dock make it an exceptional swimming spot. Observe the loons and ducks all season long in the shallow cove next to the yard. You won't find a better or more relaxing spot. The space Two bedrooms and one bathroom. This is a good space for a small family or two sets of adults. There is a large master bedroom with a large closet, queen-sized bed, and dressers. There is also a porch bedroom, very much removed from the main house that is a great space for 2-3 kids or two adults. We can configure that room somewhat to meet your needs. Guest access There is a gravel driveway and grassy yard at almost the end of a dead-end camp road. You are very near civilization as there are towns all around you and a sandwich takeout place within striking distance. You can be in historic Hallowell within minutes. About 15 minutes or so off the highway. Other things to note This is a ten mile bass fishing lake. It is not remarkably remote, but lots of space for boating, swimming and enjoying the lake.
