The home is comfortably and thoughtfully furnished - a blend of old world beauty, antiques, fine art and modern conveniences. Its well-stocked 1980s kitchen has everything you need to make and serve wonderful meals, and is located next to a private large backyard. The home has great spaces for privacy as well as togetherness - the perfect setting for a romantic getaway, friends weekend, family gatherings as well as professional long term stays. Upstairs bedrooms (4) are spacious, with carefully selected period furnishings, new plush mattresses, and comfortable fine bedding. Take the grand staircase or the less steep servants staircase. Please note that some guests may find it challenging to take the grand stair case as it is steep. However, note that there is a second back staircase that is less steep. It is the former home of Admiral Samuel Fuqua who received the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroic actions aboard the SS Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
