Redwood Forest Bungalow In Town with Deck Views

This unique bunglalow is nestled at the top of a hill with deck views that showcase the San Francisco Bay Views featuring large windows in every room that let in ample sunlight and offer breathtaking views. It's within walking distance from beautiful downtown Mill Valley (30min walk or 7min drive) with restaurants, bars, and cafes. While only a stone's throw from downtown the bungalow is also a secluded and peaceful gem in the heart of the woods. Sleeps 4 w/ sofa (fold out) bed. The space This historic home has grand views and a deck with chairs. The kitchen is small but does have a full sized refrigerator and gas stove / oven. The bathroom is charmingly small, like a houseboat, and may be tight for large bodies…yet is fully functional and has never been an issue for 99% of our 5 star rating guests. I’m 6’1, and it was more than ample for me. There are no shades on the sunrise side of the house. We are always open to helpful feedback. Other things to note - ADDITIONAL NOTES - There are many coyotes and they often sing loudly in a pack at night. We're sharing the authentic forest experience with the animals. The bungalow shares a property with the lower cabin where Tom (the property owner) lives. The backyard area and lower hiking trails are shared so you might occasionally see Tom headed into the forest for a morning hike or to grab a coffee from downtown mill valley. We want to respect your privacy and if you need anything, Tom is close by and available to help. Taxes are mandated to be collected manually for the county of Marin at a rate of 10% of the nightly rate and the cleaning fee. This tax is included in the nightly rate. The sofa easily converts into a fold-out bed for your convenience. Linens and back cushions are neatly stored in the closet. - RULES - Strictly No Smoking, No Open Fires Fire Safety First! For the safety of our property and the beautiful surrounding woods, we kindly ask that guests refrain from smoking or having open fires during their stay. No candles, incense, or wood inside the fireplace. No fire burning anywhere inside or outside the cabin. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us protect this natural environment. Thank you! No professional photos without a fee. Personal photos for yourself and your own social media are okay. Photos for a business, wedding, or professional shoots require an additional fee. We kindly ask guests to respect this policy, as exceptions cannot be accommodated.*** Kindly refrain from entering the private laundry and storage area beneath the trap door in the main room. Access to the laundry and cleaning supplies room are under a trap door in the main floor that is sometimes covered by a rug and sometimes visible. Please do not attempt open it. The bungalow is a beautiful place and we hope you think so too. After you have entered the booking there is no refund as we have done our best to clearly indicate the size and quality of our house. While it is small, particularly the bathroom, is is adorable and has made many many happy memories. Please open your heart to this place and it will open to you.
