My father and I run the cottage together, we live here. The space For safety reasons (insurance, etc.) and the technical capacity of the accommodation, any booking request for more than 6 guests, including children under 2 years of age, will be systematically refused. Ideally located between Metz and Verdun, in the heart of a small Meusian village, our cottage welcomes you in a renovated country house, with warm decoration. All children! But dear parents know that the accommodation, as well as the outside, have steps and stairs. The accommodation is not accessible to people with disabilities. Bed and towels are included in the rental, as well as kitchen towels. On the ground floor: - a lounge area with a wood stove ( fire in the stove ONLY in "cold/cool season") - living room with TV, - a fully equipped dining kitchen, -'a bathroom (bathtub and shower), - 1 wc. Upstairs: - one bedroom with a double bed (160cm), - a bedroom with 2 single beds, which can be brought together for a couple. - wc. A terrace, an enclosed garden, and a bowling alley. The gite is located at: - 40 kms from Metz, - 27 kms from Lake Madine, - 25 kms from Chambley base, - 20 kms from Verdun,. - 5 kms from the A4 motorway interchange, - 4 kms from the first amenities (Small supermarket, fuel station, bakery, tea room, snacks, doctors, pharmacy, bank). Other things to note We will welcome you on site for the handover of the keys and will take a few minutes together to sign a rental contract (the content is described below as well as in the "house rules" section, please take note), and we will do a quick inventory. ........................................................................................... DELIVERY OF KEYS, INVENTORY We will welcome you on site for the key handover at the time of your arrival, and will agree together on an appointment to return the accommodation on the day of your departure. An entry/exit inventory will be carried out upon arrival and departure. PROPERTY COMPOSITION The home sleeps 4 people, (children under 2 years old not included). Composition: on the ground floor a relaxation area with wood-burning stove, a living room with TV, a fully-equipped fully equipped dining room, bathroom with sink/shower/bathtub, toilet. Upstairs, a bedroom with a 160 cm wide double bed, a bedroom with two single beds, a toilet. A terrace and enclosed garden. HOUSE RULES & USAGE GUIDELINES, the tenant undertakes to respect: ° Respect the maximum number of people who can enter the premises (4), and leave the accommodation on the date provided for in this rental agreement. ° Be insured against rental risks. ° Respect the rules relating to the use of the wood-burning stove (use only in cold/cool season with the owners' agreement). ° Fire prohibited in the outdoor bread oven. ° Fire prohibited in the TV room fireplace because it is not functional. ° Do not open the roof window (velux) in the bedroom. Be sure to close doors and windows when you go on tours. ° The barn adjoining the accommodation is not part of the rental, its access is strictly reserved for the owners of the building. ° Electric vehicle connection prohibited on the premises' outlets. ° Do nothing that could harm the peace and quiet of the neighborhood, therefore parties are forbidden. ° Not being able to substitute any person whatsoever, or sublet even free of charge all or part of the rented premises. ° No pets allowed. ° The interior of the accommodation is non-smoking. ° Any commercial activity, lawful or unlawful, is prohibited. ° Authorize the owner to perform any urgent work during the rental period. ° The end-of-stay cleaning must be done by the tenant, it includes dishes, vacuuming the floors ( ground floor + floor), cleaning the toilets, sinks and washbasins, the garbage cans must be emptied.
