During our holidays, we would like to rent out our lovely apartment to those who want to explore the city of Amsterdam and its surroundings. The apartment is on the ground floor and souterrain and is in the central but quiet 'Kadijken' neighbourhood (1 km from Central station), which is known as one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of Amsterdam. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do, but please keep the following rules in mind: - No parties and/or drugs - No (loud) music - No pets The space Lovely, bright, spacious apartment spread over two floors (76 m2, ground floor and souterrain). The upper floor exists of a dining area, kitchen and sitting area: - Kitchen has a big stove with 2 ovens and 6 fires, refrigerator, dishwasher and a Quooker tap (boiling water straight from the tap) - 50 inch flatscreen tv - Bolia Noora couch, which sits 3 people - Free WiFi internet connection - Relax on the couch in front of the windows and see the Amsterdam life pass by :) Downstairs there is a bedroom, a spacious office, bathroom and separate toilet: - The master bedroom has a 1.60 x 2.10 m bed - The office has a home office set up, couch and an electrical piano (for our musical guests) - Dry + washing machine combination in the bathroom - Rainshower in the bathroom - Separate toilet Furthermore: - Great downtown location - Kadijksplein is situated around the corner with some lovely restaurants and Artis, Nemo and the Maritime museum are all very close. - Picknick table in front of the house (facing south, so if the Dutch sun is out you can enjoy it) - Although the apartment is in the city center, it is a quiet location - The apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 10 due to the artworks and design furniture Guest access You can use both rooms downstairs if you like, but please let us know in advance. If you don't like to use the office space, we will keep our stuff there. If you will use the office we will keep our stuff in a closed smaller space. Always open to discuss if and how to use wardrobes, cupboards etc. etc. Other things to note The people living in this area are very social and will likely make contact with you, so be prepared to have some social interaction with real 'Amsterdammers' ;).
