The lodge is nestled within native woodland, pleasant walks can be enjoyed within the 22 acre estate or why not try one of the trails around Glassford. Private fishing available on the river Avon (brown trout and grayling). The space The lodge is open plan with a neat kitchen area, double bed and a modern bathroom. A double sofa bed is also provided. With a large decking area overlooking the river valley and walled garden. A hot tub is available with stunning views on request to allow time to prepare for use. Guest access Complete privacy in location: 0.8 miles from Glassford Village and 3 miles from the picturesque market town of Strathaven within historic South Lanarkshire. 15 miles south east of Glasgow. Larkhall railway station 4 miles. Motherwell railway station 7 miles. Other things to note The lodge has a hot tub which can be prepared on request days prior to arrival. Extensive grounds can be enjoyed with walks around gardens and lawns including access to the river Avon. There is also access to the historical standing stones overlooking the front of the main Georgian house.
