There are multiple nice restaurants, bars, shops and two parks (Flevopark and Oosterpark) nearby. The city centre is accessible by foot (30 min walk), by tram 14 (which stops in front of the house) or by bicycle (which you can rent nearby). Station Muiderpoort is a 10 minute walk.
