Bright Historic Adobe House

Our beautiful, bright 1600 square foot mid-century Adobe house with mountain views and a 600 square foot bamboo deck is located on a hilltop above Highland Park, a booming neighborhood of restaurants and venues just 10 minutes from downtown! The space *Original mid-century Adobe style home! Concrete floors, lots of light. *We have installed three Air Doctor Air Purifiers as of January, 2025. One in the main room and one in each bedroom. *In summary, 8 people can comfortably sleep in the house: - 1 bedroom with blackout curtains and a king-size bed (sleeps 2) - 1 bedroom with blackout curtains and a queen-size bed (sleeps 2). - Foyer with blackout curtains and a Sofa Bed with a Queen size mattress (sleeps 2). - Living Room with Japanese futon, queen size (sleeps 2). *The living room couch + ottoman can also sleep 2 (for a total of 10 people), though not as comfortable as a traditional mattress! *Also: - Large 8-person rustic wood and metal dining room table - Fully stocked kitchen - High-speed wireless internet - AC units in each bedroom and in main living room - Air Purifiers throughout the house. - Washer-dryer in the laundry room. - Outdoor Weber BBQ. - Big (600 square foot) bamboo deck with multiple seating arrangements and workout equipment - Hammock and fruit trees - An outdoor swing (removeable) for children - Linens and towels provided - EV (Tesla charger) charger for electric vehicles *PLEASE utilize the PDFs we send to you after confirming your stay. There you will find detailed information about checkin and the house, as well as recommendations for things to do and see around the neighborhood and city! Guest access The entire house and property. FYI: There is a separate building at the back of the property, next to the parking area, a blue building with yellow doors. Depending on if we are in LA or out of town, we may be accessing this building during your stay but will not be coming down to the house, or anywhere else on the property, to ensure your privacy! Other things to note *NO SMOKING and NO CANDLES and NO USE OF FIRE OF ANY KIND on the property. Violation of this policy will result in a $5000 penalty. This is due to dryness and high risk of fire throughout Los Angeles. If you are interested in using the fire pit, ask us first for our consent. Depending on the time of year and the fire policy in effect, this may be possible. *NO PARTIES are allowed on the property. Please respect our neighbors and keep your noise at a reasonable level. If there is party discovered you will be a subject to a $5,000 fine. This is mandatory and, as there were issues in the past, be advised that neighbors will call the police if necessary. *Please be CLEAN. Guests are expected to leave our home in the same condition as when they arrived, generally speaking (I'm not referring to a bit of dust that may have settled, but rather to dirty dishes, etc). *NO early check-in and/or late checkout unless previously agreed to. *The price varies according to the date, so please do not message me to inquire what the price is.
