Three Oaks Cabin is everything we love in a mountain escape: a quiet location all to ourselves and a cozy cabin filled with our favorite things! The space Our location is just 7 miles from Big Bear Village and a stone’s throw in any direction from four season activities. In the summer, we love walking to the end of the lane for a hike or biking local trails. Boating on Big Bear Lake is a quick 15 minute drive. And, my personal favorite, you’ll also be close to great 4x4 trails.  In the winter we head over to nearby Bear Mountain and Snow Summit resorts to snowboard. We have a bunch of local books and guides to help you find everything from the best hiking, biking and off-road trails to our favorite local restaurants & coffee shops. After a day of adventure, come on back to Three Oaks and chill in the hammocks or the jacuzzi and soak up the fresh mountain air. When it’s cold, our favorite thing to do is throw some wood in the fireplace and curl up on the couch to watch our shows. We’re also a little competitive so we brought all our favorite games up to the cabin. The cabin has a chef’s kitchen with everything you need to pull off a great meal, including a full-sized stove & fridge. And if you’re like me and love to grill, I’ve got my second true love, the Traeger, out on the deck. We keep the kitchen stocked with my favorite Black Rifle Coffee and my wife’s fancy tea. Or, if caffeine doesn’t suit, we’ve got all the tools you need to fix up a batch of cocktails.  When you’re ready for some shut eye, we kitted out the bedrooms with comfy king beds and quality linens. We’re looking forward to hosting you & hope you’ll enjoy our home away from home just as much as we do!
