Goin solo? Single Room: Walk to Kata beach!

PLEASE READ THE PROFILE TO DECIDE IF WE'RE RIGHT FOR YOU: Hi! Just Anna, Josh, Mam- that's us! Here since 2000. Most guests who enjoy us, do so because of our family feel and relaxed home away from home style. Let's hangout at our outdoor lounge, in our small bar or play badminton with us in the street- we genuinely enjoy spending time with guests! We help arrange trips, book taxis, restaurants and more. We believe that travel is all about the people you meet! The space MUST READ: This is a small room without a private balcony. NO PRIVATE BALCONY. There is a glass sliding door as the entry door. Please see pictures. ⚠️ As of November 2025, there is an outdoor market behind us, with live music in the evening. Due to the glass door, this room is more affected than others. The music stops between 10pm and Midnight at the latest. This room may not be right for you if you're sensitive to music.⚠️ If Wi-Fi is very important to you, this room may not be right for you, as it is on the top floor and slower than the other rooms. We're just a regular family, running our small, relaxed guesthouse/homestay. We consider ourselves "2 Star"/ budget-friendly. We think you'll love us if you: - Want a more unique and local experience. - Enjoy feeling part of the family, meeting new people and making new friends - staying in a guesthouse/ homestay. - On a budget, but appreciate small luxuries like air-conditioning, clean sheets and room and hot water. - Appreciate our location as it's not near a noisy road, or bars/restaurants, but still walking distance to the beach and amenities. We think we may not be right for you if you: - Need professional facilities and services that you'd find in a big hotel. - Sensitive or very specific about what type of bed, pillows or towels you need. - Need to be very close to the beach. - Are not interested in a unique or local experience and simply need a place to sleep. - Are sensitive to the realities of a developing country. For example: the occasional blackouts, Wi-Fi down, occasional insects/bugs/geckos/mice and uncontrollable things etc. - Allergic to or don't like cats.
