There is step-free access to the cottage from the driveway to the side of the patio, if you prefer not to use the steps at the front of the cottage. Please note, the open plan nature of the kitchen and grounds, with an unprotected creek and road, means this listing is not suitable for infants or children, and is in our house rules. Guest access The cottage has it's own private patio, with chairs and a table, which is perfect for outdoor dining, or cocktail hour. The area just across the driveway from the cottage, on the top of the hill, is available for you use, it's a lovely spot to watch the sunset through the tall pines. Our property and neighboring properties aren't fenced, so please don't explore on your own to respect everyone's privacy. If you need us, please just send a message, or call. Other things to note There is limited cellphone reception once you leave Prescott, so please take screenshots of the directions to enable you to find us. There is good AT&T service on our property, but all others are very spotty. We recommend using WIFI calling while you are here. The road to our property is paved, and is usually plowed quickly when it snows. Our driveway is gravel and has some steep areas, and so a 4WD vehicle is needed during snow, which can happen between November and March. If you are booking a last minute during snow season, and there's no snow, then you don't need a 4WD. If you are booking a long way out, please make sure you have one if your visit in in snow season mentioned above. Feel free to message me about this too. There is one parking space for you, if you are coming in two cars, please contact us, and we can guide you as to where to leave your second car. There is not room for a trailer to park or to turn around. If you are traveling with a trailer it will need to be left parked out on the road before you come down our driveway. Please contact us for more details.
