Take a break! Enjoy this peaceful oasis with breathtaking views of the Carson Range from your bedroom & living/dining room & kitchen. 20-30 min drive to ski resorts, 5 min to Tahoe Donner Downhill. Private bedroom in 4 bedroom/ 3 bath ski chalet. Owner & her friendly golden doodle dog live in the private lower level and share laundry, entrance, limited afternoon kitchen use. 1 parking spot available on parking pad per bedroom (4 spots max) Must be willing to shovel snow on walkway/deck. The space The living/dining area welcomes you with a cozy wood burning stove (wood & kindling provided) and lovely mountain views. Currently both upper level bedrooms are available (see "Private Bedroom in view chalet" for the across the hall bedroom with balcony, Queen bed & twin daybed). The privacy of the upper level might be of interest to a family or friends, individuals or two couples). The dining table seats 6 to 8 (two leather benches & 2 chairs) The cheery kitchen has been updated with granite countertops and Kitchen Aid stainless appliances (gas stove & oven with both convention & bake options & a microwave) & a 3 leather bar stool counter facing the Mountain View. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay: pots/pans, French Press coffee maker, glass plates/bowls/ wineglasses, coffee/tea cups, Vita-Mix, silverware, cooking utensils, & baking dishes, etc. The living/dining/kitchen/laundry/entrance & bathroom are shared, while you enjoy the privacy of the upper level view bedroom with a Queen bed & desk where you can safely leave your things through the rental period. The upstairs bathroom with shower and pedestal sink is shared with guests in the upper balcony bedroom facing the street. New sheets/bedding/down comforter/blanket are provided, along with 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel & 1 washcloth per guest. Soap, toilet paper, is provided initially, but guests will need to replenish supply, as needed. TV with HD Firestick is available in the living room. Enjoy my Netflix account or log in to your own accounts. Guest access Guests renting the private upstairs view bedroom are able to access the main and upper levels. During your stay I will give you my cell phone after you check in so you can contact me. Prior to check in, per airbnb policy, please contact me on airbnb messages. Other things to note As mentioned, I rent rooms by the bedroom with 1 or 2 guests per bedroom.
