Your family will be close to everything while simultaneously being able to enjoy tranquility when you stay at this centrally-located, fully-furnished 3 bedroom home nestled on 2 acres with incredible views of the mountains. Perfect for a family or small group. Take a 10 minute walk into town and enjoy the brewery, small restaurants, and coffee shop; drive to Bolton (20 minutes) or Stowe (40 minutes) for skiing/snowboarding, hiking, biking, and climbing; or enjoy the backyard surround by woods. The space Our home will feel nice and cozy for a single person or couple and expands well for a larger group of people. The main floor has a kitchen and couch in a large open space that is perfect for spending time together. As parents we know how convenient it is to pack light so we have tucked away some essentials for your kids (pack and play, plates, utensils, toys, puzzles, and books). For adults we have plenty of games, books, and puzzles so you can have a relaxing day or night with your friends or family. Our favorite spot on the property is a lookout point to watch the sunset. There is a little trail out back which will take you to a clearing with views of the surrounding mountains. There are a couple of Adirondack chairs out for you to take a moment with a cup of tea or glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Vermont. Guest access You will have the entire house to yourself. Other things to note ***AWD or 4-Wheel Drive is a must in the winter and in early spring because the house is on a STEEP road and has a tight two-car gravel driveway*** The property is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, please be respectful of our neighbors. Our family of four (including two young children) spend lots of time in this vacation house, please treat it like your own home. Cleaning: We occasionally get questions or comments on the cost of cleaning. Vermont is a living-wage state and labor is expensive! Please note that the cost we charge for cleaning does not fully cover our actual cost to pay our hardworking, wonderful housekeepers.
