Rural house by the Sørland coast.

Cozy guesthouse on rural property. Here you can barbecue, play ball games and have fun. We have a jetty, beach, bathhouse and two kayaks that can be rented. Ramp at the entrance suitable for pram or wheelchair. To Risør city center it is three km, a nice walk along the fjord. We live on the island of Barmen with a bridge connection to the mainland. It is of course possible to drive here by car. In the area there are nice hiking trails. In the winter we often have ice on the fjord and then we can use snowshoes, skis or skates. The space Shielded property with large lawn, private jetty and a sandy beach. Guest access The property is 17 decares and is located down towards Sørfjorden in Risør. The hosts, Liv and Arild, live in the main house and the guests live in a smaller house on the same courtyard. The guest house, Solstaua, has its own balcony/terrace on both sides, so you can sit outside in both the morning sun and the evening sun. On the side facing away from the main house there is a large, sheltered lawn with outdoor table and fire pit. The other lawn and jetty are shared with the host. On the property we also have a simple cabin without electricity and water, Hønsehuset, with room for three to four people that can be used for an additional fee (NOK 300 per night) in the summer season, this gives a total of eight beds. Two kayaks, two bicycles and a bicycle trailer can be rented for NOK 100 per item per day. Other things to note Risør has a lot of nice weather and sunshine in the summer months. From the city center there is a boat to the islands outside. In winter we have some snow, but it varies. An hour from Risør by car you will find great ski slopes at Kleivvann in Gjerstad. At Vegårshei, about 45 minutes drive, there is a downhill slope and cross-country trails.
