Fancy waking up feeling refreshed in the hills of the tri-border area? You can leave your car here: you can walk straight into the Vijlenerbos and the Geuldal. This charming flat for four people is situated in the cosy courtyard of an authentic square-shaped farmstead in the quiet area near the mountain village of Vijlen. It’s spotlessly clean, with lovely box-spring beds and a fully equipped kitchen. The space De Wandelaar is a spacious holiday flat for four people, ideal for families and friends as a place to get together, and a perfect base for walking, cycling and enjoyable day trips in the hilly countryside and the border region. The flat overlooks the charming courtyard of the Hoeve. The flat features a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms. The kitchen is fitted with a large fridge, a dishwasher, an oven, an induction hob, a microwave and a comprehensive range of kitchen equipment. The bathroom is finished in beige marble and features a handy walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable box-spring beds in a cosy setting with authentic décor. The farmhouse, of which the flat forms part, is situated just outside the mountain village of Vijlen, surrounded by nature. From the flat, you can walk or mountain bike straight into the Vijlenerbos, or explore the many cycle route junctions in the hilly countryside by bike. It’s a 15-minute journey from the accommodation to Aachen, Gulpen or the tri-border area, and 25 minutes to Maastricht. A guided tour or wine tasting at our neighbour, the St. Martinus wine estate, is definitely not to be missed whilst you’re staying with us. And in the evening, you can unwind with a bottle of wine or one of the many speciality beers that we keep chilled to the perfect temperature for our guests.
