Come retreat in the Blackwoods Cabin. Located on a dead end road, this cabin is nestled on the side of a mountain in the wild woods of Washington County, Maine. This off-grid cabin is set up for your weekend of exploring, unwinding and hanging out. Visit nearby hiking trails, swimming holes and historical streets of Cherryfield. Acadia National Park, Tunk Lake & Mountain, Donnell Pond public reserved land, the Bold Coast, resturaunts, and freshly caught lobster all close by. The space This is a semi off-grid small cabin with a sleeping loft. There is Wifi, a heat pump (AC in summer), fridge, propane stove, foot powered sink, and electricity. There is no well. Water is collected from a nearby spring for guests. Heat water on the stove for washing dishes or a hot shower. An outhouse is located in the back yard. Please expect to be in a small rustic cabin. Amenities are available however they reflect the nature of this place. There are details at the cabin on how to make the most of your off grid experience. Ground yourself in nature and your surroundings. There is something magical about being connect to our earth, mindful of water collection and consumption. Wifi is located at the cabin for your convience. A wonderful "work from home" getaway. *Please note this property can get buggy (blackflies) in the Spring (April-June). Please be aware and be prepared for some pesky little critters. Some citronella candles & bug spray will be available. Guest access Make yourself at home. Cabin and property is yours to enjoy. The kitchen is stocked will all basic items needed to cook.
