The tv has a Roku for you to use for our streaming services and the Spectrum app on the Roku can be used for watching or cable programming. There are two chairs tucked away on the sunroom side of the living room, one of which swivels to face the sofa; please don't move the furniture, beyond swiveling the chair. The sunroom side also has a bar style table with 3 stools and a plug in case you have to work from the beach, you will have amazing views while you are doing so! The dining table is a bar height table with 4 seats, but the leaves fold out and we have more chairs tucked away in the bedrooms, so it can seat 6. The shared bathroom is just off of the kitchen and has a standup shower. Two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with a king, are on the street side of the home. Both of these rooms have a Roku tv that you can use your streaming services on, or go to the Spectrum app to use our cable. Both rooms have views of the ocean from the window. The master bedroom is located next to the dining area and features a King bed and an en-suite bathroom with a standup shower. We can't guarantee the number or shape any of this will be in because sometimes guests break items without letting us know and sometimes they leave extra. If you would like to make sure you have certain beach items, please plan to schedule a drop-off with either Quicksand Beach Concierge or Mr. Beach Rentals. Guest access You will receive a key code to access the front door and the downstairs beach equipment storage. Other things to note Friendly heads-up: The property next door is undergoing new construction. While work isn’t constant, you may occasionally notice daytime activity or see construction vehicles. As a courtesy to our guests, the owners have coordinated with the builders so driveway access always stays clear and work doesn’t begin before 8:00 AM. Have a larger group that you need more space for? Consider booking our other home, just across the street, Donut Disturb! All reservations include bath towels and sheets in the cleaning fee. All sheets and towels are delivered sanitized and in plastic wrap for you. The cleaners will remove the sheets from the plastic wrap to make the beds but will leave the towels in the plastic wrap for you. Beach towels are not part of the linen service. The owners have left some for you as a courtesy. Please do not put the beach towels in with the bath towels and sheets because we will never get them back. If you plan to use our beach towels, please wash, dry, fold and put them away before you leave. We are located next to a public beach access. This makes it very convenient for us to get onto the beach, but you might hear others coming and going. You will have a starter set of paper products, it isn't meant to be enough for your whole stay, just enough to keep you from having to run out when you get here. Due to stories of people putting things in salt/pepper/oil that aren't supposed to be there, we do not provide any spices and we ask our housekeepers to remove them from the home if they are left. This is our family vacation home, please respect it like it is yours. ADDITONAL PARKING/PARKING IN THER AREAS: From April to September visitors will need to be prepared to pay for parking at public beach accesses. You can walk from here so you don't have to drive anywhere to get to the beach, but just in case you wanted to checkout another area. We have one assigned parking spot for the unit, any additional cars will have to pay to park. Cost is $5 per hour, $20 per day, or $80 per week. Parking passes will be purchased electronically at time of use through a mobile app. Right of way parking throughout the town is now prohibited. The right of way is the grassy area immediately adjacent to the road that locals and visitors to Oak Island have used for overflow parking at a property, otherwise known as streetside parking. Driveways usually cross over the right of way and are exempt from restriction. We know some of our guests have traditionally used these areas in order to accommodate extra vehicles, boats and trailers when staying at a vacation rental. With this in mind, guests may need to make plans to limit the number of vehicles they will bring to Oak Island.
