Peaceful chalet with breathtaking view (Montreux)

Just twenty minutes from Montreux, our home is a peaceful haven in a superb tourism region: a private, cosy chalet with incredible views of the lake and mountains from every room. For nature lovers, plenty of hiking options, with fantastic culinary spots for your well-earned meals. You can reach Montreux with its lakeside promenade, beaches, and restaurants within 20 minutes (by train or car); Rochers de Naye, Chateau de Chillon, Aquapark, and Vevey are only 30 minutes away. The space In winter, a cosy home to sit by the fireplace, share a raclette dinner, or play board games with friends. In summer, enjoy the mild weather on the balcony with a cold beer and the best view in the world. Enjoy comfortable beds, a fully-equipped kitchen, high-speed internet, a washing machine and dryer; everything a lived-in home has to offer. Please note that the third bedroom is an open mezzanine under the roof, reachable by a ladder. It's particularly suitable for older children! The bathroom is split : the shower is a separate room from the toilet. We have the possibility of preparing another room downstairs for additional cost. Please get in touch if you're interested. Guest access You will have access to the entire house, including the wild garden. The chalet has its own covered parking (up to two cars). From the Caux train station, the chalet is a 10-minute walk on a paved (steep) path. Other things to note This is our weekend home which we sometimes rent out. It's not a hotel :) we like buying our furniture used and making things ourselves. The furnishing is comfortable and simple - we get our "wow effect" from the view! Pets: we know many guests like to travel with their entire family and we're happy to accommodate one dog at a time. As our home is very precious to us, please consider before booking whether your dog will be a respectful guest that will not harm our floors, furniture etc. Thanks in advance!
