The little yellow house in Kronberg im Taunus

The small yellow house is a charming half-timbered house in the middle of the romantic old town of Kronberg. The location is quiet yet central. In 5-10 minutes on foot you can reach the S-Bahn station, from there you can get directly to Messe Frankfurt in 20 minutes. All shops serving everyday needs are within walking distance, as well as many nice restaurants and cafes. Kronberg is a scenic and culturally very charming town that invites you to take walks, attend concerts and go sightseeing. The space In the small yellow house you will find the following amenities: Kitchen: Stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, large fridge with freezer compartment, as well as complete cooking and dining utensils and a small basic set of items (coffee & tea, salt, sugar, spices, vinegar & oil) Bathrooms: Bathtub, shower, toilet, towels and basic equipment (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, etc.) Living room: TV, stereo, board games, books Bedroom 1: Large double bed (1.80 m), cabinets and dresser, optional air conditioning (pictures are not up to date, as it is currently being renovated, will be updated afterwards) Bedroom 2: From October 2025: queen-size double bed 1.40 m, desk, mobile clothes rack. Also: A folding table with two chairs that can be placed on the street in front of the house if necessary. Guest access On the ground floor of the house is a shop/studio. You will live on the two upper floors (enclosed area) with an open kitchen, living room, bathroom and two separate bedrooms. If you have limited mobility, you should know that a wooden staircase leads to your apartment - both to the upper floor and to the attic. It is, as is customary in such old half-timbered houses, a little bit steeper. (A photo of the stairs is attached). On the ground floor, you also have access to a shared guest toilet with washing machine and dryer, where you can wash your laundry by appointment. Note for guests with small children: You can park a normal stroller in the entrance to the house. I use this area for my studio, it is a bit cramped there, but we can work it out ;-) The house does not have an outdoor area, but there is a folding table with two chairs that you can place in front of the house on nice days (here it should be noted that the furniture does not obstruct the passage and may only be outside during use. Do not leave them unattended and never in the rain, thank you). Other things to note Note: On the upper floor, where the bedrooms are located, there are sloping ceilings. The maximum ceiling height here is only about 2 meters. The smaller of the two double beds is 1.40 m wide, is under a roof pitch and is only accessible from one side. The small yellow house is located in the traffic-calmed zone of the old town. Direct access to the house is only possible in emergencies. However, you can unload heavy luggage at the next street corner, about 20 meters from the house. A parking garage is a few minutes away. Parking (for a fee and free of charge) can be found in the area. The house is located near a church. The church bells also ring every quarter of an hour at night. People with a very light sleep might feel disturbed by this.
